We were first time homebuyers and so nervous about this process and the thought that we might miss something big. Mr Summerlin talked me through the process and even about some of my concerns with the home before I even hired him. He was very professional w the home inspection and extremely thorough. He definitely proved that he was working for our benefit! We received a detailed report that even and he stressed to us to contact him with any questions. We also had him come out to the final walk through to ensure things had been corrected that needed to be. He made sure to address all our concerns about the house before he left. It is evident that he does this job to help people and not just out to get your money! I talked to several inspectors in our area and I can tell you Mr Summerlin is the best by far. One of his competitors even mentioned that Mr Summerlin is the best! That says a lot. Hire him without reservation!

Jeff Summerlin was in full on inspection mode at the agreed upon time. Home being inspected is a century home and he was very knowledgeable at what to look for in an older home during the inspection. Jeff was very respectful of the property, ensuring that he covered his shoes when entering the building, turning off all utilities after himself and replacing items that he had to move to conduct his inspection. He took very detailed notes and accompanied every note with photographs in the report. Jeff had the full report posted online for my review the same day as the inspection. Prices charged were extremely fair and well worth the money spent. Jeff was extremely easy to talk with during the inspection and ensured me that at anytime I had a question to stop him and ask. All questions were answered in terms that were easily understood and he was able to explain technical terminology in easy to understand language. I would most definitely recommend Jeffrey Summerlin as a very reputable home inspector.

Jeff arrived ahead of the scheduled time and went right to work.  Conducted a very thorough inspection of the exterior and interior of the residence and provided a very informative an detailed report.  I have some experience with home inspectors and Jeff is Top Notch just like the reviews say.  In researching inspectors be sure to ask if the credentials listed on the website match the inspector coming out to do the inspection.

Jeff is wonderful! I highly recommend him and was so impressed with his thoroughness. He did not overlook anything and even pointed out flaws that my husband and I had never noticed before. We were very pleased with his report, punctuality and detailed approach in examining the home. Jeff is very honest and will tell you exactly what you need to know. He provided advice on fixing cosmetic issues in the home as well. I couldn't have picked a better inspector. Highly recommend!!

Inspection went perfectly! Jeff was able to find problems that would have taken weeks to find. He was very professional in explaining everything and making sure I understood his findings.
