 + -1 moreI have been a customer of Robertsdale A/C and Heating since shortly after we built our present home in 2009. I purchased extended warranties from them and have annual service agreements on the two American Standard 20 units I have. The installing contractor did not offer these services and basically provided no post-installation service. Were I to build another new home I would sertainly use use Robertsdale A/C and Heating as the HVAC contractor. This is second service call in two years. Both times I was offered an appointment for that same day with a one hour window; in both cases the service technician arrived within the window. Both tecnicians were in uniforms and introduced themselves; they briefly explained what they would be doing and when faults were determined advised me of their corrective actions. When complete they described what they had done, ensured all panels were in place, the units were functioning properly and departed. This is the best service I have ever received in decades of home ownership at locations all over the US. Consistantly exceptional service. I would never consider going elsewhere.
Description of Work: Dollar amount shown is what service call ($78.00) to my Fairhope location, parts and labor chage ($60.94) would have been if not covered by my extended warranty. Repair was on high efficiency (SEER 20) American Standard heat pump. Installed in 2009 when we built our current residence. It is one of two identical units, the other of which has required no service. This is the second service call on this unit. A control module was replaced at the time of the first call, in 2011 The unit was not heating properly. Could not maintain inside temperature of 72 degrees without reverting to aux heat (electric resistance) when outside temperatures fell below 60's. Technician did diagnostic check of complete system and delermined that a pressure valve was not closing. He traced the problem to a sensor with a loose connection. He made the repair. Whole job was less than an hour.
