I need to make an addendum to what was a very good review. I mentioned to Jimmy Saturday morning that my AC had stopped working Friday during the night after he and has crew had been here. He asked if I thought they had anything to do with the failure and I said I didn't know and that the AC company would be out to check the unit Monday. Monday turned into Tuesday and the AC repairman showed me where a nail had gone through a copper pipe in my attic that allowed all my Freon to leak. The repairman and I both spoke to Jimmy who said he would make good on the expensive repair. Jimmy showed up an hour later with my contract in hand that says in the fine print "All agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents, or delays beyond our control". A nail through a copper pipe seems like an accident within his control but, I was quite frankly too tired and too hot to argue at that point. I have paid the additional expenses incurred. I am a novice at dealing with repairmen and it shows. But, I'm also a big believer in you reap what you sow. Learn from my mistakes. Do not hire him. He also goes by the company name Premium Roofing and Construction. 

Jimmy gave me an estimate Wednesday along with three other companies. Stovall $5,417, Jimmy $5,500, Ace $6,300, Pierce $6,600. Jimmy's was the most detailed estimate. Very specific ; felt, shingles, ridge vents, pipe boots, chimney flashing, paint, clean up, warranty and references. I signed a contract Thursday. He and his crew were on my roof early Friday morning. They did an excellent job. They completed everything as detailed in the estimate by Saturday morning. He and his crew were very conscientious and professional. I would definitely recommend. C

I can't remember the date, I think it has been about a2 and 1 1/2 months.  We were having a hard rain.  It was suppose to rain for 2 days.  My roof started leaking I called as many people as I could find who may be able to help me.  No one would answer my call or I got an answering machine. I left messages and the next morning Jimmy Edwards's Roofing Company called me.  He said he would come and repair my leak for a $250.00 service call.  He came just like he sais he would and he stopped my roof from leaking.  He put something that looked like glue under a shingle which looked like a nail head had came up through it.  He used a calk gun.  Then  

 he said he didn't like a near by valley looked.  He used a spray can that looked like it had tar in it, and sprayed the valley and part of the roof.  That really made my roof look bad.  Jimmy did what he sais he would, but I think $250.00 was a very high price and I think that spraying my roof was unnecessary to spray my roof tike that. He could have more careful and just sprayed the valley.  I think he did it thanking he would my get to reroof my house.



He stopped my leak, for the price he quoted. But I think he could have been more professional.  All though he told me his price up front I think it was VERY high.  But, that is what you have to do when you have no other choices.

Jimmy's team of five were punctional on Monday morning and completed the job the same day.  They removed all materials as advertised.  We were extremely pleased with the completed job.

I contacted the company to get an estimate on roofing one of our houses. They called back the same day with an estimate of 6000 dollars to replace the roof with architectural shingles, replace any damaged decking and install a ridge vent. I accepted the bid, selected a shingle color and work began the next week. The job was completed in two days and they received payment. We are in the process of remodeling this house and do not presently live in it and did not inspected it for several days. We discovered that one of the roofers had stepped through a piece of decking and through the ceiling in a bedroom. A board was improperly secured over the hole and roofed over. Since we had used the same company a year earlier with not problems we did not expect a problem. After a heavy rain, We discovered 5 leaks in the roof. The company has been contacted several times by phone and in writing and they fail to meet us or respond in any manner. They were also sent pictures of the damage. During the time period between the roofing and the discovery of the damage no one was at the residence. (The house has an alarm system)
