Cobbs Ford Pet Health Center PC

The office in front was very clean. The check-in people did their jobs but were not overly friendly. When we were taken back to the examination room the entire area was a little less clean. It was not dirty, but definitely not as clean as I would like a medical facility to be.
We had to wait about 15 minutes in that room before the nurse came in. They took our dog away to get weighed and left us in the exam room. I don't want my dog going anywhere without me in that situation. Then when they came back I found out they had scraped a sample from his foot. I don't mind them doing that as it is part of the care, but they did it away from me and they did not tell me they were going to do that when they took the dog to get weighed.
Then it was another 20 minutes of waiting. The exam by the doctor was very brief. They looked under the microscope and reported a bacterial infection and possible yeast infection. They sent me home with two different medications and that was it.
The biggest issues were the long waiting times in the exam room, and them taking the dog away and doing something to him that they did not disclose they were going to do before taking him away.

They were fantastic. I've had a really good experience with them. I like them becaue they offer 24 hour vet services. If anything happens in the middle of the night which have happened with my dog, they are always available. Somebody always picks up the phone in a reasonable amount of time. They will see. If they need to see you when their clinic isn't open. They have a variety of doctors there. If there's a challenging case, like I had a dog that had some significant medical issues, because they have so many doctors in the facility, they always have another doctor that they got ideas off of which I like.

It went very good.  They did everything well.

They are friendly.

When you walk in they know your name, they know your pets name. My daughter goes to him. My daughter went for horseback riding lessons with the doctor and his wife when she was younger. He started the practice and they just added 5 other veterinarians. They have a fantastic surgical center onto the clinic and they offer high pet care there. They are all super nice and I've used him for 30 years. They are very dedicated.

Our dog comes home happy and worn out after a day of playing with his friends. We know he's in a secure environment and if needed, appropriate vetrinary care is right across the hall. The staff seems to love our dog as much as we do and he's always happy to see them. I've had no reservations about recommending them to others.

They are fantastic, they are all very personable, every time we go there, no matter who is seeing my dogs, they just love them there. Every other veterinary that I've gone to, my dog will literally melt into the floor, they just love inside. It's a little drive from my house but I still go there. The only thing with them is they are little bit pricey.

I was quite impressed with this clinic from the point of initial scheduling and throughout. I never felt rushed during the appt and Dr answered questions and took her time explaining everything...she even called a few days later just to follow up and see if I had any questions since the visit. I hole heartedly recommend this facility!!

We have been using Cobb Ford Vet since we moved here 4 years ago.

They're not below and they're not the most expensive so I have to say they're reasonable for their services. They are great doctors and they truly care for your pets.

They are very friendly and they care about the pet.

I used this vet years ago when I was previously living in Prattville and tried them again when I returned in Sept. My dog was not feeling well when we got settled so I took her to see them. They talked with me about her symptoms, then looked at her and thought she was allergic to fleas. They then did a test and confirmed they were correct. They put her on antibiotics for 10 days and a monthly pill for the allergy. She has not had a problem since.

The staff was professional and caring through out whole journey with a heart worm positive dog. I forgot to give her all her meds so the condition was the result of my negligence. They were compassionate and kind while treating our dog for this completely preventable condition.

Overall, they do a teriffic job!

I have been going here for twelve years. They have a number of skilled veterinarians. They have an overabundance of technical help. They are always very busy, and they are always extremely kind to the animals. They are exceptional at what they do.

They are absolutely wonderful. The veterinarians are very patient and take their time. They have the best interest of the animal in mind; they also take care of the humans. Our dogs love going there for boarding and they do a fantastic job of grooming. They are very friendly, courteous and love the animals; they actually call and check how the dog is doing after surgery. There is nothing I dislike and I will use them again in the future.

Cobbs Ford has the sweetest people, from the receptionists to the doctors. They care about the animals and love the animals. They provide the best medical care for your pets and they care about the people too. It is not just one person it is all the people in the office, they make you feel like a valuable person. I have had some of my appointments pushed back but it has been because of medical emergencies to other animals so that is something I understand. I had an 18 year old cat 6 years ago that I had to put down and a doctor stopped what he was doing to sit and talk with me about my options, he spent a good hour with me. It was after this that I decided to get another animal.

I have used almost every vet there and they are all very kind and compassionate. They take whatever time is necessary to help your pet. Very thorough, caring and professional. Willing to discuss issues and medications prescribed. They bend over backwards to help with other solutions for both the pet and owner. They do a great job with the pets and the owners, no complaints!
