I was looking for a unique Christmas gift for my wife and she had mentioned how it sure would be nice to have a clean house...not smart enough to get my wife's indirect hint that I clean the house myself, I immediately started doing research on house cleaning services and came upon some great recommendations for A&B Professional Cleaning Services on Angie's List, and I am glad that I did.  Kathy came out the day I called to do an walk-through of the house (3 floors (1 a finished basement) with over 4000 square feet of living space).  She was detailed in her analysis and told me she would get back with me with an estimate once she had gone over her notes.  While she told me she was not the least expensive cleaning service in town, she was extremely committed to the quality of work she would provide.  She quoted me $625.00 for a deep cleaning of the entire house (which I would expect had not been done in the 3 years since I have owned the house and the 4 years it was rented out prior to my purchasing it) and said it would take about 6-7 hours with 4-5 cleaning ladies.  We scheduled it for two days prior to the Superbowl (as I was having a party that weekend).  Even with the snow storms in the area causing a lot of havoc with schedules - she was able to ensure that she showed up and got the house cleaned prior to our party.  After 8 hours of work on the first day (4 ladies cleaning), Kathy told me that she would like 4 additional hours the next day to finish the work (3 cleaning ladies completed the job) to ensure she met her own high standards of quality.  My wife and I were extremely happy with the work she and her crew did on our house.  And though she took longer than she originally expected to complete the work needed (we have 3 kids), she did not increase the price - I truly believe we got more than we expected.  I would recommend this crew to anyone looking for a house cleaning service - Great job Kathy!

I am very pleased with A&B services. They do a thorough job, esp with floors, bathrooms, kitchen and dusting. The team is very polite, well-mannered and professional. They do not take breaks and work straight through until completion. I value their experience and attention to detail. They are also flexible to accommodate my schedule when needed. I am very pleased with their work.

Two cleaning ladies showed up on time. One lady cleaned each side of home. The lady responsible for the bedrooms, did a lousy job in the master bedroom and bathroom, in not cleaning the shower door, mopping behind the toilet, dusting the shelves, window sills or tv stand. The jack and jill bathroom in the other bedrooms also had areas that were not touched. This was not so bad in that it could be done the next time, however, she also left bleach stains on the master bedroom and one other bedroom carpet. While one lady asked me how was the work done, I did not take the time to check their work (because I was on the computer), & told her I would check later and call Cathy Boothman later if there were any issues. I did call a little while later with the results of my inspection, my main concern being the bleach stains left on the carpets which turned the spots white. She told me she was cleaning a house and to send an email to [email protected], which I did. I never received a response. Since I was going to be out of town I left my cell phone # for her to call. She never responded back. On 7/14/13 she emailed me from [email protected] to check if I would be home for the next scheduled cleaning. I replied back to her about calling me to discuss the bleach stains on the carpets. Instead of calling me she lied in reply to my email and said that her workers complained about me requesting other that normal general cleaning when they came on 6/24/13. The work was done on 6/20/13 and I said nothing to any worker until they were walking out my door. While I sent her a copy of the original email of 6/20/13 to the new address also cc:[email protected], she called me all kind of derogatory terms as well as to say she was reporting my name to Angies list to tell all other housecleaners to beware of me by flagging my name. I was trying to keep this between she and I to correct as adult people, but she lied so many times in her response on me and also said she texted me after I left her a voice mail msg on 7/15/13, which she has not texted me as of the date. This is the third time Angies list has asked me to give a review of my experience. I wanted to wait until I spoke with Cathy Boothman about the bleach stains. I am a renter and I will be held responsible for this damage caused by her worker. Since she would rather lie and deframe my name and character, I find it necessary to tell you what was the truth of my experience. I would never refer this company to anyone else. She said she also spoke with her attorney about me. This did not have to go there, if she would have only talked with me. Now I also will have to seek legal help in fixing this carpet issue. They say in their ad that they are bonded and all work has a warranty . It is now apparent to me that she slanders a persons name and lies to prove that they are right, instead of speaking with them and correcting the problems Shame on them.

A&B is the BEST.  Truly, affordable and thorough!  My house smells great after the girls leave - my floors are spotless, and the bathrooms are immaculate....and everything in between is so clean.  I keep a pretty good house, but it's nice to have someone come in behind me and do some extras that I don't often get to as much as I would like to.  I've used many cleaning services and - in my experience - theirs outranks them all.

I called A&B to schedule an estimate.  The lady I spoke said she was the owner and was very polite on the phone.  Set up an appointment for 1:00 PM for the next day.  She said she would send me an email prior to coming over with the terms of service.
I never received the email and she never showed. No one form A&B even called to let me know!  I waited for 4 hours and called twice with no answer.  I'm sure there is some excuse and I know things happen, but you can always call and inform your customer.  Just letting me sit there waiting on my day off without a phone call is lazy and disrespectful.

Everything went great!  We were very satisfied with the service we received so we plan to have the team come out once a month to do cleaning.  However the monthly maintenance will not be as in depth it will get those areas we cannot due to a busy life schedule.  In fact, we did have our first monthly cleaning on 12/14 where 2 cleaning ladies came out.  They took about 1.5 hours and the house looked much better.  It was nice to have someone wash the floors and vacuum the rugs with a powerful vacuum.  The ladies were professional and kept pace to get the job done.

I was very pleased. The price was what was quoted to us. We liked them so much we had ask that they start cleaning our house every two weeks.

When we scheduled the estimate, A&B was timely in getting us scheduled and punctual on the set day of the estimate.  Because we called early enough in advance, there still had an opening to have our house cleaned on a Saturday.  During the summer months their weekends get booked quickly.  Once we had the date set, we kept in touch with Cathy the owner.  She does all of the estimates and the price will be based upon the square footage of the house being cleaned.  As we approached our cleaning date, our scheduled move got shortened and the movers arrived a day early.  Because of that, we had the house empty by Wednesday of that week and called Cathy on Tuesday to see if she could possibly come out early.  She was able to accomodate and was even willing to split it up over Thursday and Friday if she could not get it all done on Thursday.  She brought a crew of 5 including herself and it took them about 4 hours, but they sure did a fantastic job!  I wish we could have brought Cathy and her girls with us on our move, our new home was not cleaned at all after being built and I really could have used them to make it as spotless as the rental house we left.  I will admit, they had us leave the A/C on while they cleaned the house with the windows open to let fumes out, which when the heat was 105 outside, made for a bit of a higher electric bill, but the cleaning they did was well worth the extra cost in electricity.  I cannot recommend A&B enough!  They are a bit more expensive than others out there, but they are well worth their weight in gold!!!  Thank you Cathy!!!

Very pleased with the job. They took time to really clean every part of my home. Will definitely continue to use them.

She never showed up and she never called. on 4/8, I got an email from her explaining she had gotten tied up in things and didn't have my phone number with her. What really bothers me about this is that I had other things I needed to do rather than be home (grocery store, etc) if she wasn't coming. Now I have to think about whether I will use this service at all.

Cathy and her crew have been cleaning our house for over a month and I have been very pleased.  They are trustworthy and do an excellent job.  They are pet friendly too which was very important to me.  I am extremely glad I went with A&B Professional Cleaning.
