"She failed to mention the proposed driveway was at the bottom of a hill in a neighborhood with underground springs. The project was a driveway extension. The concrete had to be hauled in over the existing driveway. The area stayed wet for weeks after a rain. We tried many times to schedule the driveway. Water would seep out of the yard and every crack in the driveway for weeks. I told the customer that it had to be dry. I am sorry for the inconvenience and for the weather."
"My father meet with him and looked over the work. We gave him a price over the phone. He was unsure if he wanted colored concrete or not. He was unsure what he wanted to do with a set of steps, so we didn't put the price in writing until these things were figured out. I did contact (member name removed) to set up another meeting, but was interrupted with an injury. I have been in and out of the hospital trying to resolve the issue. I told him what was going on and he said he would wait for my call. We are really busy right now with customers who need there jobs done this month. His job was not scheduled until July. I am sorry that I did not realize the impatience of this customer. We had every intention of completing his job well before July. Maybe it is best this way. Some people cannot be made happy and do not understand what it takes to run a small family owned and operated business. Thanks for listening to our side of the situation. Rufus Campbell"
