He was really pretty good, but there was a problem. You had to catch him when he didn’t have other jobs. He built houses in Florida after they had the hurricane down there. He was down there a lot and he built several houses. You have to catch him in-between jobs. If you don't mind waiting it is okay, but if you want it done tomorrow it may not happen. I was willing to wait because I like his work. But it started turning out to be a problem with him. I am not going to use him anymore because that may not be a good way to do it. The price was hourly in his case. It wasn't a bid. He charged me $35.00 an hour plus whatever it cost for material. If he needed to hire somebody, you had to pay for that. Most of the time, he didn't need to hire anybody. I just loved what he did. He would do things that other people didn't want to do. He took incentive and helped you out with the project if you ran into problems and made suggestions. With him working on other jobs, sometimes you just had to wait because he could make $150.00 building homes. His price was fair.
