Tommy and his crew of family are great. They listened to what I wanted as a customer. My property had a lot of roots from trees and I know it was a tough job putting the posts in. It was raining the first day they were supposed to start, so Tommy called me and asked if it would be OK to start the next day. I said "of course!" They showed up the next day working long hours to get those posts in, and then, the day after that they put up the boards. The fence looks amazing and secures the property. Tommy and his crew cement the posts in and use screws for the 2X4 into the post. May take a little extra time, but well worth it. Don't waste your time on those fence guy who won't even call you back. If you live in the area and need a fence, call American Fence!

Took many phone calls and way past promise finished date

The work was completed in a good amount of time, there was no mess left behind and we have been complemented on our fence on more than one occasion. I like that I can send a text to them anytime requesting info or quotes and they answer in a timely manner with an answer. In had 2 other companies provide a quote and American Fence beat both of them.

The guy told me that  I had to pay half up front and the other half when the job was done. He said there was a two week back log ,but that was normal for my area. We  set a job start date and an end date. Well, they never showed up on the start date and when I called them, they tell me they were on another job for some  company. I waited two days and and they still didn't come, so I called them again. I was then told they had to get their fencing  licenses   and they would have some one call back and I never got that call again . to make a long story short, it took them five calls and two weeks later to get my fence up. only when I ask for my money back did someone call me.  The quality of the fence is by far not perfect. some parts of the gate is higher then other parts. after the work was done, no one did a walk through with me to see if I was satisfy with the work . 

He was late in coming out for the estimate. He gave an estimate and we gave the go-ahead to proceed with the job. It was later than he promised because he had to order the materials. Then he never showed up when he said he was going to. Nor did he call.

Went great. They're a busy small company, always working, so the worst I could say would be a little bit of phone tag -- big deal. They did a great job, quickly, at a very reasonable price.
Importantly, the fee for hauling away all of the scrap was included and very reasonable as well.
I would, and probably will, use them again when I have replace the fence at my primary residence.
They also were considerate, as far as I know, of my tenants. This can be an important point if you're a landlord.

Owner took me on a tour of some neighborhoods to let me see some of their work.  It looked good so I agreed to let them put up a wooden privacy fence.  Their price was competitive with others I priced.  They did the job when they said they would.  The owner kept in contact with me over the phone while the men where doing the job.  I've already recommended them to neighbors.
