0/5 star rating. Please do not use this company for your HVAC issues. I have had them at my house 5 (that’s correct, FIVE) times in the last two months. Each time they said it was a different problem with my hvac unit and charged me every time. The third technician CURSED like a sailor the entire time and told me that he hated having to work on my hvac unit because he was not supposed to be assigned to my house that day. That same technician has caused water damage in my ceiling from him not installing the part correctly (I found 7 screws and other parts that he did not reinstall along with a gash in the ductwork). Now I have to get the drywall replaced and painted. From the office staff all the way to the managers….please do not use this company. It has been a true nightmare

Very unethical. Davis came. Fixed heat- lasted one day. Their answering machine said they have office hours on Saturday 8-5:30. They don’t. Told me I would have to pay another fee to come back out and “fix” the problem they should have fixed in the first place. Heat for one day is not fixed. He just put a bandage on it so he could charge another service call. Technician typed in different notes than what he wrote to me, because when I called they told me different story about my service. What he told them and what he wrote on paper, and told me were two different things. Found them to be unethical, didn’t fix the problem, and didn’t want to fix the problem. Just wanted more money. I would not ever let them in my house again.

They are terrible! They come out to work on the AC unit. September of 2015. They said we needed a new unit. It takes over 2 weeks and they still haven't been out. Then, they finally come in about 2 weeks. I'm calling the attoryney general and the BBB and they finally come out and replace a part and make the ac work. In April or May of 2016, it goes out again. They have to have a new ac again. When I contact the home warranty, Meyers billed for a new unit in September and say it was a faulty unit. And they were filing a warranty replacement.

Myers sent out a so called plummer, He had no idea what he was doing, he nearly destroyed my bathroom and I came very close to throwing him out of my home. It was very clear he had never worked on this faucet before he almost pulled the sheet rock off the wall. I won't use Myers for anything!!!!!!!

If you are reading this, you no doubt are in the process of, or have been victimized by this SCAM.  Here's how it works.  You have a home warranty, probably with AHS.  You call for service because your air conditioner isn't working.  Service tech comes out and diagnoses, or tries to diagnose, the problem.  They take your $75 and tell you they have to order parts.  They report back to the shop and advise the part they need.  The folks at the shop pad the estimate with all kinds of "code required upgrades" that are not covered by your home warranty.  Then they call AHS and tell them about the problem and cost of all the add ons.  Then AHS calls you and tells you that you have to pay the difference between the $80 per lb Myers charges for refrigerant, and the $10 per lb that AHS is contracted to pay.  Then they add all of the padding and tell you that you have to pay for all of these items before they will fix the AC.  These "...code required upgrades" are not in fact required by code at all, but are rather the things they would normally have to do to fix the problem described step by step and priced per step at a greatly inflated rate.  For example, my float valve on the pan got knocked off.  It still worked, but I pointed it out to the tech.  He said "Oh that's nothing, I've got one on the truck that's better and I'll throw that on there".  He went out to his truck and returned with a float valve and replaced the one that was there.  After AHS called and said I had to pay $1,160 in "Code required upgrades" I asked for an itemization.  $150 of this was for the float valve that was already replaced.  I looked up the part that he had put in.  $15 online for the exact same part from numerous vendors.  $285 for "Plenum modifications" to replace the evaporator coil.  They have to pull the tape off the ducting to access & replace the coil, then remove the cover and replace it after replacing the coil.  That's $285.  Then, instead of taping it back up with metallic tape like it has now, they are going to use Mastic for $165.  I went down to Home Depot to check this out.  $20 a gallon for Mastic.  The guy said I'd probably need 1/2 gallon for my unit, so $165 for $10 worth of material.  I called an AC contractor I know and asked him how much he would charge to replace the evaporator coil and recharge the system with refrigerant on a 3 ton unit.  He immediately responded $1,150. $10 less then Myers via AHS says I would have to pay for "non-covered items".  Coincidence?  I think not.  I requested written itemization for the "...charges not covered" from AHS and was told this could not be emailed or faxed, but rather had to be mailed.  After another week without AC, I received the letter which did not provide the itemization of costs as requested.  All of this after the same company said the problem was caused by a leak in the condensor unit outside a year ago.  Similarly, there were numerous "...code required upgrades" that were not covered.  I had the unit checked by another company who could find no leak.  I chose not to have them replace the condensor unit last year because they could not prove there was anything wrong with it.  A year later they come out and say the problem is the evaporator coil in the attic and successfully demonstrate this with a leak detector.
