James was onsite at the beginning of each phase, and personally met with sub-contractors to ensure their understanding of the process. He has established strong relationships with contractors of all disciplines.
We did have one incident with a brick mason who did not complete the work to our satisfaction. James hired another mason to correct the problem and absorbed the extra costs.
My experience with Historical Home Crafters was excellent.
- James was on site continuously overseeing his bricklayers, carpenters and painters.
- All workers were professional and on-time
- Work quality was excellent with no need for follow-up corrections.
- All brick, paint and ornate molding were matched perfectly
- I had concerns that the sheetrock joints (from the added framing and sheetrock used to decrease the size of the opening where french doors would be hung) would show, but I cannot see the joints at all. I was very pleased with craftsmanship. HHC actually corrected some of the old joints in our foyer and now they look much better than before.
I have worked with many contractors and this was by far my best experience.
