One of the doors was not the correct door. Champion quickly ordered the correct door and replaced it when it arrived.

The service was excellent. They came out twice and the total cost was about $10,000. The cost for the second time they came out was $7,000. The salesman was great and the installers just kept working. It was a little difficult because of the shape of the window, but they got it perfect.

The job went smoothly from the sales people to the installers.  I went to buy groceries while they worked on the windows.  I didn't worry about the guys doing the installation.  I am very happy with the windows.  I could have found a better price, but I am very happy with the job and the company.  This is repeat business for Champion.  I had a very good experience with them.
The windows are very nice.  I would recommend them.

I have no complains. They replaced 12 windows and installed double pane windows. They took the time and did a good job.

We had some issues along the way, but all problems were eventually resolved and the windows are excellent.
One window was mis-measured from the beginning, so its install was delayed.  We also had some custom work done around the picture window which wasn't performed to our satisfaction initially.  All of these issues were handled well by our representative who kept in frequent touch, both with phone calls and texts.  Because of that, I never doubted everything would eventually be done right.  It took more visits than it should have, but we're really happy with the results.
I chose a grade of B for quality because I think their installers could have prevented some of the issues up front.  But, they got there in the end.

When we met with the salesman on 09/30/14 he said he did not know anything about this deal and refused to honor it.

Everything turned out very well.  They arrived on time, did a great job with the installation, and came back right away when I told them that they had forgotten to caulk one of the windows.  They even replaced, at no extra charge, some wood trim that had been damaged by dog.  Furthermore, Champion was very accommodating when scheduling a time to meet for an estimate which we appreciated.

The quality of installation exceeded the expectation. Their promptness and professionalism were extremely well. They were very competitive on the prices and fit within our budget. They helped us plan additional work on a future date to help us save money. The workers seemed to do the work in a very short period of time. They didn’t under staff but sent the necessary manpower to keep the job duration to a limited amount of time.

Although the windows look great and the installers did an excellent job, I was disappointed in the sales part of the experience. I researched several window companies and decided to go with Champion because of their lifetime warranty. I called the salesperson to,let him know that this was why I had decided to go with this company. They weren't the highest or the lowest but I liked their lifetime warranty. He came to sign the papers and had me sign a 20 yr warranty. I questioned this and he told me it was because of the "great" price I was given. When the next guy came to remeasure, I again questioned the warranty and he told me it would cover everything the lifetime did. He then told me that it was because I didn't get the windows I assumed I had. I had gotten the older type windows. Now, I was only shown one window and shown the lifetime warranty so I assumed that was the window I was getting. Since I had signed the contract when I decided to call the company about this issue, I had them put in and they do look great because the installers were excellent. However, should anyone decide to use this company, MAKE SURE you know what you are getting!!! This is company is in the Pelham, Alabama area.

Salesman indicated we could have in much quicker than reality.  Some days the crew pulled off for a "do over" somewhere else or did not show up at all. We were very happy with everything EXCEPT for three things:
1.   the beadboard trim (or maybe you could call it retainer piece) had anywhere from 0 to over /4" gap that looked bad. They told me several times that that piece was the smallest they made and that was the best they could do.
2.   One corner piece was cut short so it looked bad.  When we complained about the this, they just put a lot of calk in the corner to cover it up.  I've been told calk should never be used on the fake beadboard (nor trim) to give it room to expand and contract.
3.  Above two windows, the construction is such that it looks like the window is leaning.  There is one thin strip that is almost 1/4" thicker on one side than the other.  If this had been a 1" thick (vertical) piece, it would not be so noticeable but it is a very narrow piece.  I complained about that and they said the room was not level and brought a laser level to prove it.  There is approx. 3/8" drop over the 18' of the room, but they have approx 1/4" drop over course of 3' window which is huge difference. We argued over this over several weeks and the guy in charge had told me three different times "if I had made the measurements, we would not have this problem" (he was recovering from surgery when the measurements were done). To me, that was admission that the error was theirs.  They steadfastly refused to fix the problem and finally offered a settlement of 5% discount of the unpaid balance.  I accepted since there seemed to be no other option. I considered the settlement for this item only.
Later when I went to their store, they had a demo room set up with beadboard and trim just like I have EXCEPT there was no ugly gap between the trim and the beadboard! The fit was very snug! It was obvious that they had a smaller trim piece than the one they installed for me.  I then wrote the local store and sent a copy to corporate headquarters, complaining about the poor choice of materials and workmanship and requesting they correct it under their warranty.  The local manager called me and in essence told me that I had settled for a lesser amount and that was it. They would do nothing else.  In other words, they "settle" on one thing and then claim it covers all workmanship and material.  The salesman made me think there was a lifetime warranty on labor and material for the whole room. But upon reading very carefully the "warranty" certificate, it only covers the vacuum in the windows and screens if not damaged by mechanical means.
To summarize, we love everything EXCEPT the unsightly mismatched trim pieces on the beadboard and the unsightly angle on the piece above two windows (one window each on opposite sides of the room).  I have only dealt with one other contractor in my 45 years of adult life who refused to make his workmanship something he would be proud of.
