Lawn Tool Repair
I called OCR Small Engines just before closing (1130am Saturday) and they said they would try to pick it up Monday. They had a number of pickups already scheduled for Monday. It rained most of the day Monday, and so the mower was picked up 2pm on Tuesday.
I asked about the backlog since it was the beginning of mowing season (usually the worst time to of the year to try to get a mower worked on) and i was relieved to hear the the backlog was approximately 4 days.
The next Tuesday April 22, OCR Small Engines called at 1pm to tell me it was ready to be delivered and the exact amount due. Within the hour, my tractor arrived in good working order and I was able to being mowing.
A number of years ago, I had a small fire on the same mower and lost the remote choke control and had to start the mower in an an awkward way. I didn't use the mower for a couple of years and couldn't recharge the battery and had a gummed up carb. They picked up and delivered, replacing all the missing parts, plus the battery and cleaned and adjusted the carburetor, sharpened the blades, etc for a little over $200. The 12v starter battery was a big part of the bill, so I was very pleased with having a good as new tractor back - delivered to my driveway, for a very reasonable price.
PS I live in the Hampton Cove area about 10 miles from Owens Cross Roads where OCR small engines is located.

2 year old poulan self propelled mower wouldn't start.
they diagnosed the mower and performed all of those repairs fo 50 bucks.
