Jess came out and did the estimate. Answered all my questions, and I had lots of them. The work was done as promised and done very well. The workmen were very pleasant and helpful. I'm very happy with the work that was done.

Just great for a paint job

Jess came to my house and gave me the estimate, very nice and personable. I had one other estimate, was not impressed, so I gave the job to Jess Painting. He has to move his schedule around to accommodate my schedule as I was also having windows installed and I wanted it all done during the same timeframe. The workers showed up on Monday morning on time and immediately got to work. They worked from 7-3:30 and were at the house for 3 days, really thought it would only take 2, but didn't want to rush. Marty was better than the other worker, he told me he has been with Jess for 18 years and you could tell he was the leader. They cleaned up the debris and pretty much did a great job in their final clean up, just a few places I needed to go back over - Marty was better in this area also. He did 2 rooms and the other guy did one. There was no paint splater until they had to come back to do touch up - not impressed in this area, as they did not put down anything to catch the splater, so I had to clean that up after the fact and there was quite a bit. Also, if you hire them do not let them touch up with a brush, you can see where they touched up. Their lines at the ceiling and baseboards were great. Also, they scratched my marble countertops and when my husband asked them about it they denied it. I knew it was them as they broke my mirror in the masterbath when they removed (not a problem, was not going to rehang), but they put a couple chips in the countertop and then on my black countertop there was a few long scratches. Understand things like this happen, but would have had more trust in them if they admitted it was them instead of denying. I called Jess and he immediately started working on correcting the problem. He bought some stuff to fill in the scratch and chip and I'm satisfied, he did what was needed to ensure I was a happy customer. Overall I would hire them again, as the final product turned out nice, would just make sure I specifically instructed them on touchups and inspected everything everyday, to inform of the problems the next day.

Very well. The crew arrived on time, and worked professionally. They were very neat and clean in their work. We were very pleased with our experience.

Well, to say it went well is an understatement. His crew treated my furniture as if it were theirs. They checked their shoes all the time coming and going from the house. Unlike my previous painter they cleaned up their mess and hauled their garbage. Most important they professionally painted my home. I see no streaking, no damaged spots and came back to touch up not because I asked but because they were a quality team. What a pleasant surprise. After such poor work by the prior painter to get someone that charged his quote, cared for my home and have improved it with professional workmanship really restored my faith in contractors.
