The owner spoke with me when I dropped off my car to see what it would take to get the A/C fixed. I expected that my late 90's car would need a new compressor and anticipated being told it would be expensive. That wasn't the case! Other mechanics had told me it was the compressor ($900 or so). Because of that, I had no A/C in this car for about ten years! When I got the word that it was a minor repair, cleaning out a valve or something, and then a blast of freon was all that I needed, I was thrilled!  In addition, he patched the muffler rather than replacing it, saying it would last a year or so.  He flushed and replaced the coolant, as well. I appreciated the owner doing work that saved me money, and would be happy to recommend Hampton Cover Auto to friends and family.

All systems inspected and checked including brakes, steering system, and suspension, All fluids and filters replaced. I have been using Hampton Cove Auto Service for years. The owner, Mike, does excellent work, usually takes my car the next day or sometimes the same day when I call. It is usually returned in a day, rarely longer if there is a parts issue. On occasion, if they found nothing wrong, they have not charged me. Their prices are fair, and I have always been satisfied with the quality of their work. They are friendly, honest and efficient and stand behind their work.

Used them for the first time. Very professional and responsive. Felt the cost to complete the repairs was reasonable. Communicated well on their findings and status of the repairs. Glad to have someone so close to home for auto repair!

They are a nice company to deal with. I have taken many cars down there. I had a Cadillac and the blinker lights kept breaking. They got the proper part from a Cadillac company and fixed the problem. I have been dealing with them for 4 years now. They have done one or two jobs for nothing as I am a regular customer. They did a service for me 4 months ago. Their prices are cheaper than other automobile agencies. They always do a good job for a fair price.

I have been using them about fifteen years; they have all been really professional. The prices are reasonable. They are timely. They have been awarded I guess. I would take my car there again in the future.

He sheared 1 lug stud, charged 35 dollars to replace it without calling for approval.

I was very happy with the company's professionalism and courtesy at the desk. I told them the problem I was having and they planned on looking the car over and calling me with an estimate. Before they started work, they did call with the estimate and explained each task they would be doing. When I picked up the car, it was running better than it had in quite awhile!

It went very well.I dropped the car off and they gave me a ride home.They picked me up the next day when the car was ready.Their estimate was accurate.They were pleasant guys.

I have never failed to have been totally satisfied on the work they have completed for me, from required periodic maintenance to abnormal mechanical problems. Their prices are totally reasonable. One example - my truck is 20 years old and recently the tail lights stopped working. After a lengthy diagnosis that included tracing and testing all the wiring connections it was determined that the problem was in a switching mechanism that cost $300. Since the owner knew that I would not want to spend that much he investigated further to see if the local junk yards had the switch, or the broken component of the switch. When he couldn't find it he called and asked what I wanted to do. I told him to just put it back together, I would only drive it during the day. He would not take any payment for the time and effort he had gone to.
