Was late but was courteous to call ahead to let me know and showed up when he said he would.  Friendly and professional, good price and finished work quickly.  Plan on using him again for some lighting.

Mr. Goodman was punctual, completed the task in no time at all and was VERY friendly. he even helped secure the chandelier in a crate and also helped load it on the back of a truck. We highly recommend this electrician and will definitely use him again in the future!

I used G&W Electric because my father, who is a retired Power Company man, used their services to upgrade his electrical service box.  They were very nice, efficient and hardworking (including crawling around in a hot and low-pitched attic), and more than met my father's standards.  He was pleased.  
Mr. Goodman contacted me within 24 hours of submitting my Angie's List request, and came by the house the same day to determine what needed to be done and give an estimate.  The work was scheduled for the following week at my convenience.  The man G&W sent over led the crew that did my father's work.  He was prompt, courteous, professional, and took care to clean up before he left.  I am renovating my kitchen and had all the light fixtures and switches/outlets replaced, and added undercabinet lighting.  Mr. Goodman dropped by around noon to check on progress and answer any questions.  The job took a little longer than expected, because fishing the wire for the undercabinet lights proved to be tricky.  Even so, the work was finished in one day as estimated.  
Since it had been some years since I've had to engage an electrician, I frankly suffered a little sticker shock, especially since I provided the lighting fixtures, but at least I knew it was being done correctly and neatly.  I'd rather pay once and move on with my reno than to pay less and be dissatisfied with the results.  I have no problem recommending G&W to anyone else needing residential electrical work!

G&W did a great job. They put us on their schedule quickly and were punctual for our appointment. They took care of our problems and were knowledgeable in what they were doing. Price was reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.

I sent an email via Angie's List and received a phone call within the hour to schedule an appointment. Appointment was scheduled within two days. Arrived within the hour hour time frame given. Friendly and introduced himself when entering our house. Checked wires and installed fan. Cleaned up the area he was working in.

I thought that the price was rather high.  But I was not sure what others would have charged for the job.  The quality of work was fine.  He did exactly what he said he would do.  He was prompt.  I was not there when he did the job.  I am sure he was nice.

When I first called him I expected to have to wait a long time.  He was doing a very important and very large problem for Auburn University.  Most people would just put my job off and get to it whenever.  That was not the case at all with this Gentleman.  He was kind and came over pretty quickly.  He made an assessment of the problem and gave us an estimate.  He was very skilled, compassionate, caring and cooperative.  I really hope more people use his skills because he is one of the best I have seen.  Fair, honest and he gets the job done right.  What more could anyone ask.  I really appreciate him and Angie's list. During the holidays, we discovered that the line to run the electricity was not installed on one of our rental properties. This posed a problem since we would not be able to get heat into the unit in order to finish the maintenance and have heat turned on in time for the tenant. The service provider was called on a day where the temperature was not desirable for indoor work being there was no heat not to mention not being desirable for any outdoors work.  Without hesitation the electricians were prompt and quick while performing the necessary tasks required. We were very pleased with the service and will definitely contact in the future.

Started in basement, found no problem.  Went to little closet upstairs which is a wiring nightmare, and traced out the problem.  Very patient and extremely friendly.  He is coming back to take care of the mess in the closet so it's up to code.

Came on time with two assistants one is his son. Completed on time.

These are great people, and I felt at ease the entire time they were on my property and in my home. They will be back for more work. Good people,  and true to thier  word.

I didn't realize that I needed a down rod for the ceiling rod. I went to Home Depot and got one and it was too long. I had to take it back and he had other appointments and he went out of his way to come back and get it fixed. I thought that was really nice. I like that he is a hard worker. Whenever I call him he's the one that knows everything about anything electrical. He's got a lot of know how.
