They were very good however price was ridiculous.

My Sweet Daisey passed away there after a surgery was performed there but she had no clue as to what killed her! They kept telling me (when I CALLED THEM) she was getting better! She went from having a UTI to her immune system to a Uterine infection & did only a small blood test and ultrasound that she said showed no abnormalities inside! Where's the compassion? Said because I was a person of limited resources she did no more bloodwork! I'm trying to find out what happened! It helps to record conversations!

I was 5 hours away and started home as soon as this happened. The Doctors were in touch with me updating Ladybug's condition. Dr. Bates called me at the end of her shift to update and she told me she would be back in the morning and what her plans were. I arrived after midnight to visit Ladybug, she had been given massive amounts of medication in an effort to stop her seizures and she was really unresponsive. We had no way of knowing how long she had been having the seizure prior to my nephew finding her. Her temperature had been up to 107. Dr. Bates called me the next morning with an update. Unfortunately 30 minutes later my Ladybug passed away.
I feel that Dr. Bates and every employee at Fur Buds did everything they could for her. They were so compassionate and helpful in very way. Today I received in the mail a wonderful memorial paw print that they had taken, in addition to a heartfelt card.
If you need compassionate, affordable, quality care this is where you need to take your pet for emergency care.

The staff at Fur Buds were great. After finding only the handle of a disposable razor on our floor, we were afraid our puppy, Rizzie, had swallowed the blade. We arrived around 9:00 p.m. and did not wait long to be seen. Radiographs were suggested by Dr Riggs ( I think, it was a very stressful night) and we were informed of the cost before anything was actually done. Unfortunately the radiograph machine was not working properly and they had to call Dr. San Miguel in to troubleshoot. We were given the option of taking our dog somewhere else if we did not want to wait, however, since we were already there, we decided to give them a chance to get the machine running again, which they did eventually. I think we ended up being there for about 3 hours, but everyone was so nice it really didn't seem that long. As it turned out, Rizzie had not swallowed the blade and Fur Buds waived the fee for the radiographs because we had to wait so long. It's great to have an alternative to the vet school that's a little closer to our home. I highly recommend Fur Buds based on my first experience.

Fur Buds After Hours Veterinary Clinic seemed like they were totally confused with what they were doing and what they weren't doing. One minute, they were telling me the dog was in great shape and could go home. They were doing a lot of unnecessary things to the dog so I think that's the reason why the dog died. Then they refused to take the dog home when I didn't really think that they were getting anywhere with it and I want to bring him home. They called me up and told me that the dog was doing 100% better and he'd be going home the next day and the next day my husband was to get the dog and the dog died. I think they put through him a lot more than they should have and the tests that they ran just didn't make sense. It was a very expensive experience. They asked all the money upfront before they even treat the dog and even more than what you think it's going to be because they're afraid that your going to pay them, to me that makes it sound that they have a lot of bad experiences with dogs.They were responsive.

I am very happy with them. They are a 24 hour boarding facility and I have boarded my dogs there 3 different times. I am very satisfied with them. Their prices are reasonable. I had to leave my cat overnight because her leg was severely swollen up and bleeding. I was able to pick her up the next morning and they gave me medicine for her. She has recovered. I was very satisfied with the treatment. Dr. San Miguel is the vet and owner that I deal with. I haven't deal with any other vets there. I will be boarding my dogs again in 2 weeks. They give them a bath if they stay 3 nights. They take good care of them and give them lots of exercise. I am very happy with them. I particularly like that I can drop my animals off any time and I can pick them up anything because they are open 24 hours a day. They have 3 vets and there is also a vet on call if my animals were to get sick.
