I have been using Dand M Heating and Cooling before. So I called them and they were here the next day, and they gave us a quote. They are still working on it. I will use them again.

They did a good job. It took them a while to come out to do it.

D&M was the service provider through my home warranty. The cost reflects the service call deductible plus charges not covered by the home or product warranty. The technicians were very professional in diagnosing the problem, and courteous when working inside the house. They originally replaced a faulty valve in March. After having problems with other warranty service providers in diagnosing a problem in fall, I specifically requested D&M for a second opinion. They replaced a second valve, and performed additional servicing and troubleshooting as it has become apparent that the original installation of the unit was not done correctly. They have also been great answering questions over the phone as I learn about The home warranty runs out soon, but I will continue to call D&M for any service work for as long as I have this system.

They at first told me that they needed to replace a different part that would take three days (very hot days) to get and cost $500.00. They went back outside to get the number off the part. They were gone a long time. When they came back, they told me they'd been able to clean the part off really well and get it to work (the problem was ants eating through contact points - a common problem down here and one I've have to have to replace things in my AC before because of). However, one of the contacts was completely destroyed. Now, maybe they should have taken the time to clean the part off to begin with, but I'm glad they did it and saved me the money and the three days of miserable heat, so I'm happy. If I hadn't dealt with this company before I might have thought that they tell you it's this $500 thing that will cost three days and then come back with a $300 bill for something that should cost $200 or less, but I've dealt with them before and nothing like that has ever happened so I felt comfortable that they were really trying to help me.
