K & C Painting

Reasons why I would not rehire or recommend William Edge K & C Painting. 1.Unplugged and moved security system base which was on a table and security cameras that were not adjacent to the painted areas along with my Echo Plus. Unplugged cable and wifi also and did not hook back up in between days of work. 2. Moved lamps, furniture, decor, tv etc. onto my kitchen countertops and dining room. My living room, foyer and game room were being worked on. I could not use my kitchen during the time he was painting. 3. Cigarett butt and trash were left behind my love seat in a room that was not painted. 4. My daughter who was home from college told me they did not use a sentence without profanity the entire day she was there. 5. I am now missing a wall plate cover with no explanation or attempt to replace it. 6. My nails in the walls were painted into the walls in several spots. I can not get them out without having to repaint. 7. Some nails used to hang pictures were missing. 8. They cut my cable line to my living room tv. 9. On the final day I was told they would be gone by 12. 12 turned into 2 and they finally left at 315. 10. He taped construction type paper all over my hardwoods to protect the floors. However they did not cover up my stairs. Paint splatters are all over my stairs and residual tape was left behind on the floors I had to scrape up. 11. Left my sofa with the coffee table upside down on top in the middle of my living room while painting. 12. Left large baskets and rugs on my newly refinished hardwood floors after I informed him the floors needed to cure. 13. Did not clean up drywall dust off of my furniture and piano. 14. Moved tables, decor, and rugs into my daughter's bed room and bathroom upstairs rendering the bathroom unusable. 15. Splattered paint all over my game room television. 16. Did not reattach blinds after painting. 17. Wall paint splatters were also on the trim in several places. 18. Paint droppings can be seen on the baseboards. 19. A small section of trim was missed completely. 20. Poor caulking in a section of my baseboard. 21. Slid heavy coffee table on my hardwoods and left a mark. 22. Put a dent in my living room wall with my side table and did not fix it. 23. Unplugged and moved the family computer to the floor. 24. Walls were painted in the process of them trying to paint the door frames. Very sloppy work. 25. Shoe caddy that was on my living room closet door was moved into the closet onto a shelf and in the process two hooks were lost. The door was not being painted. I don't know why the caddy was moved. 26. My bannister was removed for painting. They did not understand how to reattach my bannister so they put a screw in the bottom at an angle to rig it to stay up temporarily. 26. When I questioned William as to why he left my house in the mess he did he said one of the employees said I was going to clean before they moved the furniture back. I cleaned right in front of him. I never said anything about not putting my house back together. 27. I had to leave before he finished the job. I left him the 1800.00 we had agreed to. He sent me several aggressive texts while calling me hun a million times and said I owed him 300.00 more. I sent him documentation showing what we had agreed upon and he still continued to argue with me. I had jokingly told him not to tell my husband how much I paid him and when I wouldn't pay him 300.00 more he proceeded to call my husband and talk to him about it. As days go by I continue to find more and more mistakes. I will never pay someone before I've inspected their work again. Very dissappointed with this company and would not recommend them!
