We needed a new roof on our home. We were talked into using Jeffrey's Roofing even when we had gotten estimates from other roofers and had decided on another one. The one we really wanted came in $200 cheaper, but we were still strongly persuaded into using Jeffrey's Roofing (personal situation I don't care to go into). They were punctual, but boy were they messy. Not only with roofing materials, but with personal trash as well and left ruts in my yard. I would imagine the roof will be fine, but not the after-effects. Every single time we get a big rain, within a couple of days or so, we get a flat tire. Weird, I know. Then yesterday, we happened to look down at our tires and there was yet ANOTHER nail. We got it to the tire place before it went flat, and it finally dawned on us what is happening ---every single flat was due to a roofing nail --- one of our drainage spouts spills out right in front of our garage door and when we looked, sure enough, roofing nails. So, I've had to pay for three flats, two being on the road of which we had to repair out of town(VERY frustrating and not pleasant at all), one at home and one not yet flat. We also found old roofing shingles in our shrubs after the job was complete. The roofer who came in $200 less was Manny's Roofing out of Madison, Al. He will travel all over the state. He was doing almost our entire neighborhood last summer due to hail storm damage we had all gotten and we were so very impressed with their workers. They were polite, respectful of our neighbors property and worked so very hard. And when the job was done, the ENTIRE crew staggered along the roof cleaning it up and making sure no nails or debris ever hit the ground. VERY IMPRESSIVE. Not so for Jeffrey's. One guy just kind of swept the roof when it was finished. I will never recommend them to anyone, and wish we had pressed our personal gut feeling from the beginning.
