Great! They came on Saturday night of the 4th of July holiday weekend and fixed the A/C. I will be using them again.

When getting the estimate, they spelled out what was needed to bring everything up to code (wiring, new air intake, etc) and gave me a very competitive estimate. They showed up on time, finished on schedule with no extra expenses. The employees were very friendly and professional. I am very pleased with the experience.

Work was done quickly and no further problems.

They are prompt, reliable and they do a good job.

I have using them for years. They have also replaced and serviced my furnace and a/c unit. I have always been very happy with using them.

I used the plumbing services of United Heating And Air Conditioning, which was terrific. They are professional, they were recommended to me by a friend and I think they might have been more expensive.

It was awful. I felt like I had to pay a doctor for cutting off the wrong leg. I asked if I could speak to the manager. I was told, and quot;He knows you want to talk to him, but he said that's as good as he can do.and quot;
Not only did they overcharge me, but now I have to pay someone else to replace the bricks that were removed from the fireplace that was not a problem. And the fire in the fireplace doesn't look like it did before. They really screwed me over.
I will NEVER use them again!

I had a Nest thermostat, and when United installed the new unit, the Nest would not work. United called Nest and after working with the technical support staff over the phone, Nest decided to send me a new thhermostat.

They're great. I've never had any problem with them at all. They put the original heating and a/c system in our home in 1998 before we purchased it, so I knew they were good and reputable. They provided a military discount and the units they installed had rebates which they helped me apply for.

We had a new heating and cooling unit installed. They did a great job. Looked at the house, recommended size, etc. Looked at air flow through out house, made some conduits longer and larger. When they could not get the indoor unit through the garage entrance, they took the unit apart around edge to fit through opening, then put together when they got it into place.
Very professional, double checked everything. Follow up call. Top notch. Clelaned everything up!
Would never change to any other company.

I like them. They came out the same day that I called. It was on a Sunday. They are very polite and responsive. They don't charge a fortune. They are very clean. I have used them for about 4 years. I have a contract with them.

I CALLED THE OFFICE TO LET THEM KNOW MY UNIT WAS NOT COOLING. THE LADY ON THE PHONE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE LATE AFTERNOON BEFORE THEY COULD SEND SOMEONE OUT. THE TECHNICIAN CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE.

The heat went out in our home on Christmas Eve.. I saw that United Heating had a Coupon for $25.00 off any repair , so I called them. In the Future ... I WILL call them again If i am ever needing any Heating / cooling or plumbing repairs. They came out with out charging me overtime or holiday pay. The Technicial was very polite on the phone when he initially called to let me know he was on his way and find out more about the problem. He was at my house with in the hour and had my unit fixed and our Heat back on . I am so Thankful for United Heating and Cooling and their Professional Staff and the Pride they all seem to take in their jobs.

I would recommend Mike. He is the one that does the geothermal work. He is good and very reliable. I don’t know other people in the company since we always use him. Their price is way too high, though.

Explained to the service manager over the phone that I had a leak on my black plastic polybutylene water service line and that I had already dug it up and exposed the pipe. While he did his best to sell me a new line from the meter to the house, I said that would be too expensive and that I just wanted the pipe repaired. He quoted $65.00 to :"fix the pipe". He sent a plumber out to make the repair. He looked at it and said it would be $156.00 for the job (parts and labor), if he had the parts on his truck. If he didn't, it would be MORE. As it turns out, he didn't have any parts on his truck to make the repair, even though he knew exactly what the job was before arrival. Please note that it is company policy to provide an exact price before the job is started as they do not charge by the hour, but by the "job". The plumber left to get parts and returned approx. 30 minutes later with a small piece of pipe and a couple of connector fittings. He was able to complete the repair in approx. 15 -20 minutes. After we turned the water back on and confirmed there were no leaks, the job was complete and he went to his truck to make out the invoice. He presented it to me as a total charge of $250.00 I said that was awful expensive to rum and get parts. He said that was the price. It appears he wanted a job price of $250.00 so he subtracted the quoted price of $156.00 and charged me the difference of $94.00 to run and get the parts. When I complained that $94.00 was really expensive he said "I told you that if I had to run and get parts it would be MORE." I paid the charge but feel I was tricked, lied to and deliberately mislead. Originally quoted $65.00 and ended up with $250.00 I called the company to complain. They argued and said it was a misunderstanding. No refund was due. I then wrote to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU on advise from my attorney. They wrote back and said they cannot make any judgements on the quality of products or services performed nor could they make any judgements on prices or fees charged. My main concern was of deceptive and dishonest business practices of this company but they were not interested and would not accept my case. I am very unhappy and outraged . Thankfully, a forum like Angies List exists so consumers can warn other people of their experiences.

It was excellent. I graded them B because of their time management. I had a schedule appointment for 3:00 p.m. I contacted them 2:03 P.M. I contacted them to reaffirm the schedule. I was told they were running behind but will be there ASAP to which I did not mind even though I had taken off work for this. I waiting until 5:49 P.M. and I was worried they had forgotten about me so I called them. She asked for my information again. About 15 minutes later, a service man appeared. He was very polite and helpful. He let me know the part in question was still in warranty and only charged me for the labor, shipping of the part, and the service call.
