I took my son's cat in to be seen because he was vomiting, unsteady on his feet and very lethargic. Dr. Struby was not there that day, and Rogers was not in the clinic when I got there. I was told I could leave the cat and they would call me as soon as he was seen and diagnosed. Rogers called and told me the cat was in "terrible shape, he was anemic, his nutritional status was horrible and he had a huge mass in his abdomen, and it probably wasn't worth the time and expense to treat him." This is a healthy 4 year old neutered male cat. My son was at work, and I was incredulous. I said to Rogers "Are you sure we are talking about the same cat?" He offered no treatment, no diagnostic tests, nothing. He did finally agree to confer with Dr. Struby the next day. I really love Dr. Struby, she is interested in your animal and their place in the family. She really wants to do what is right for the animal and you. Dr. Struby saw the cat approximately 20 hours after he was brought in to the clinic for treatment, and did an X-ray and called and told me that the cat had a blocked urinary system. The huge mass in the cat's abdomen was his bladder!!! This situation is a medical emergency and Rogers denied treatment to our cat for almost 24 hours. A male cat can die from this, and it does not take too long to happen. I cannot believe that a Vet that has graduated from school and passed boards and practiced for any length of time cannot tell the difference in an abdominal mass and a distended bladder. If you value your pet DO NOT TAKE IT TO ROGERS!!!!!!! I cannot call him "Dr." because I have no respect for him and do not trust him at all. I would love to be able to give the clinic a glowing recommendation because of Dr. Struby, but he is her partner and the chance we would have to have him treat one of our animals is just too real. We are going to another vet. And I am reporting him to the Vet Licensing Board. The cat has continued to have problems and I blame that on his delay in getting treatment, which is inexcusable.

My vet is fabulous. It has probably been twenty years that I have been using her. She is wonderful. She loves animals. She gets down on the floor and plays with my dog. I went to pick my cat up one time and the girl went to get him out of the age and couldn’t find him and he was standing in her office on her desk. Sometimes if you are unable to pay and if she knows you, she will let you by until you pay. Sometimes it takes a couple of days to get an appointment unless it is an emergency, which is typical.

If you need a vet, go here. Dr. Struby is helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, cheerful, and bunch of other great qualities. She is on time, fully attentive to my dog, and really enjoys animals. I've been there twice and feel like I've found a great and quot;home vet.and quot; The offices are a little dated, and some might say shabby... but Dr Struby, her assistant, and the receptionist are cheery enough to make up for the cosmetics.

I have a rescue dog who does not trust males at all, so I use Dr. Struby, the lady veterinarian at Robinson Hill. She's very good with my dog and takes her time when she comes in. She often gets on the floor with her just letting her get used to her at the beginning of the appointment, and Dr. Struby does everything she can to keep my dog at ease while at the same time doing what she must in order to examine her. She's good and firm when she has to be, but very attuned to the emotional signs of the dog. She also is very cautious and doesn't just throw medicine at us to cure everything, but takes her time and evaluates the situation, which is a must when you have a dog who has occasional seizures. I love Dr. Struby!
The other vet is knowledgeable and thorough. We had to see him for an emergency once when Dr. Struby was out. He seems to know his stuff, too, but he's brusque and businesslike, so don't expect him to linger in the examining room. I only see him when I have to simply because my dog does not do well with men.
The staff is GREAT, and they do their best to remember you from visit to visit. It's easy to just pop in and pick up flea and heartworm meds when I need them. They're also very good with the animals, very positive and calming. I highly recommend Robinson Hill.

I used to use Goodwyn Animal Hospital, but since I got a rescue dog who'd been going to Dr. Struby at Robinson Hill for treatments, I decided to give them a try because my dog, Jolie, was already familiar with her. I LOVE Dr. Struby. She really knows her stuff, she loves animals, and she takes her time so that the animal gets comfortable with her. My dog has occasional seizures (we're not sure if it's from a heartworm treatment she had to go through before I got her or if it was already a condition she had), and Dr. Struby has been very knowledgeable about medicines for seizure dogs. Jolie gnaws her paws at certain times of the year when her allergies get bad, and Dr. Struby cautioned me against certain allergy meds and helped me to find one that works well with seizure animals. She's fabulous. I do have to say, though, that my dog doesn't like strange men, so I try to avoid going when Dr. Struby's not in. The other vet is very good, too, but he's very brusque and not very personable.
