Who would have thought it would be difficult to find tires for a Toyota Highlander Limited? I had a bad blow-out while traveling near Montgomery and desperately needed a new tire because my spare did not look safe. After calling and visiting numerous places, none of whom had tires for a Highlander Limited in stock, I contacted Reinhardt and luckily they had the tires in stock. While I would generally be reluctant to purchase tires from a dealership, their price was just as good as all the other places I contacted who would need five days to get the tires. Since the price was good, I went ahead and replaced all four tires and they dumped my old spare and used one of my other tires that was in reasonable shape for the "new" spare. I was pleased with their efficiency and price.

I understood the need for the replacement of the front wheel bearing assembly but could not understand why I would need an entire drive shaft replaced at an estimated cost of $1070. I asked to speak to the service techician after hearing the news over the phone from the service attendant. I explain that this vehicle has not gone off-roading so how is it that I need an entire driveshaft replaced. How about checking the u-joints and hanger bearing first and see if one of them was causing the squeaking? He said that something let loose inside the drive shaft and that replacing u-joints and the hanger bearing would not solve the problem. I mulled that over for an hour or so and called him back to ask how he could tell it needed a drive shaft and he said by putting it on a rack and letting it run in reverse. No other explanation. So I told them to repair the front bearing assembly and leave the drive shaft alone. The bearing assembly repair cost $655. I did not plan to pay on the additional $1070 based on the skeatchy conversation with the service tech.
So I took the vehicle to another Toyota dealer down the road and told them I though I had a bad u-joint, which I had pinpointed by spraying some WD-40 on to make the squeaking qo away. The service department put the vehicle on the rack and confirmed my diagnosis. They replaced the rear u-joint, which had one bad seal and had went dry and caused the squeaking. Total cost was $219, almost $900 less than what the Reinhart folks wanted.
I have had issues with Reinhardt Toyota since I purchased this vehicle new; they were very non-commital in standing behind their product and had to be prodded to address issues I had with the vehicle. This is the last straw. They will not get anymore of my business, either in purchasing another vehicle or in repairing the one I bought from them.

They are fine. I am talking about the service department and not the body shop. I have had good experiences with the service department. They seem to do a good job at least to my experience. I usually wait for my service. They are pretty prompt, and I don't have to wait a really long time. I am quite pleased with it.

They were fast. I checked online and they set up someone right away. I would use them in the future.

I've traded with them for years. They are very good. I would continue to use them in the future.
