Oh My Catering

My siblings & I hired this lady for our parents 50th anniversity. We invited 57 friends & family. We were charged $14.75 per person for 6 menu items & $1.50 each for drinks. We also had her provide a cake. The idea was for us to just enjoy our family & really not do anything but write a check, show-up & leave.That's why you hire someone,right. Anyway our money got us some rolls w/ a piece of very thin turkey & ham sandwich meat in it, a bag of Sam's meatballs in sauce in a pan; that were supposed to be swedish, some fruit in a bowl, some heat & serve rolls w/ a swipe of chicken salad in them, some almost burnt Sam's chicken product wings in sauce; which were supposed to be teriyaki real wings, & chunks of cheese from a bag, thatshe tried to carry the left-overs out w/ her. Our drinks included water, un-sweet tea, & some straight from a mix lemon-ade; not the home-made w/ lemon slices. The Cake was a 2 tier plain white w/ white icing nothing fancy, I could have made, with some flowers stuck in it, Not the 50 we asked her to use. My wife and I arrived & the caterer & 2 assistants were there at 4:50, the party was from 5 to 7 pm, Great this is going to work out good, I thought. Well people are arriving & our parents get there at 5:15,everyone starts helping their selves, I look over & we're out of water & almost out of lemon-ade. So I ask my brother where is the caterer , he doesn't know, so I go & find the stuff & replenish the drinks. When I get back to the kitchen my brother-in-law comes in with an empty sandwich tray, which we refill. This goes on for a while, with different ones refilling different things. At about 5:40, my sister comes up & says I found the caterer, she was down at her restaurant & she is on her way. Once they, because the assistants were gone too, got back they finished what they were paid for. Our parents had a great time & didn't know any of this was going on, as it should be. The thing I want to say about Oh My Catereing is that we expected more and we got much less, especially for that kind of money. For their prefomance & quality of food I wouldn't recommend this caterer to anyone for any reason.
