Emerson Paulk Home Inspections LLC

I am out of the state and trying to buy a home and get the inspection taken care of, site unseen. Emerson was very helpful and made sure everything was looked over thoroughly. He had my report back to me quickly and was able to help me with any questions that I had from the report. I would recommend him and definitely use him again myself.

Mr. Paulk is outstanding. He is incredibly accommodating of schedules. When he showed up, he performed a thorough inspection of the home. He explains things in such a manner that is easy to understand. I wouldn’t hire anyone else. Thank you, sir.

If you've ever gotten service so good that you wished you could pay for the service over and over, you'll know how it was to have Emerson as a home inspector. Emerson arrived before I did, stayed until he had fully explained everything to me and left me comfortable and at ease. He replied to every message and encouraged me to contact him if I had more questions. In addition to telling me what was wrong, he told me how to cost-efficiently fix the issues. It made the home buying experience that more fluent.

Mr.Paulk, inspected a house that my mother was interested in purchasing; Mr. Paulk, is very thorough and took his time examining all areas of house. His report was detailed and clear.

I contacted Mr. Paulk to perform a home inspection on a house I am renting. Mr. Paulk was able to reschedule my first appointment with no problem. He was very detailed in his report and made me aware of some electrical problems that needed attention. He explained the report to me so that I could understand it. I will use him again when I decide to buy a house and recommend him to anyone that needs a home inspection.

Emerson did a great job.  I called and needed an inspection done at the last minute, so he reworked his schedule and came out late in the afternoon to look over my house.  He walked me through each part of his inspection, and didn't have any issues answering questions or explaining what specifically he was doing.  He is very outgoing and makes you feel at ease, even as he is pointing out potential flaws.  I was impressed by how thorough he was, and how he would climb through the attic and all over the roof to inspect places many other people wouldn't check.  He also compiled a great final report, along with almost 100 photographs of each problem he found.  The report was professional and informative, and he had it ready the next day!  I was very happy with Emerson's work, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have their home inspected.

Overall all I think Mr. Paulk did an excellent job. Upon initially scheduling the home inspection, he coordinated the entire process with our real estate agent while also keeping us in the loop via email. He was able to schedule the inspection for the next day, which we thought was going to take at least a week. Once the inspection was scheduled, Mr. Paulk sent us a very detailed explanation of what to expect before, during, and after the inspection. He emailed us the contract that very clearly identified what we were paying for and ensured us that he was working in OUR best interests to identify anything that may be an issue with the home. That put us at ease since it isn’t like we buy homes every day. He allowed us to answer questions before we signed the contract and answered all of them promptly and concisely. The home inspection was scheduled the next day from 12-3 pm. Mr. Paulk stated we were welcome to be present at the inspection, but if we wished, we could arrive toward the end of the inspection at 2:30 and he would explain all the findings that he discovered. My wife and I arrived at 2:30 and just like Mr. Paulk stated, he was complete with his inspection and ready to go over everything with us. He walked us through the inspection, room by room, and explained where he discovered issues. Luckily for us, most of the issues he found were minor or cosmetic. However, he did discover one major safety issue with the underlying structure of a balcony which potentially saved us a costly repair and risk of injury. Later, the same evening of the inspection, Mr. Paulk emailed us a detailed 34-page report on the inspection. The report covered every aspect of the house. The report also included pictures which made it very easy to correlate the findings he documented to an actual visual of the problem. Overall I am very pleased with Mr. Paulk’s services and I believe he charged a very fair price. Even when asked about elements of the house, such as the in-ground pool, that were not covered in the inspection, he was able to refer us to a specialist to inspect those areas. I would definitely recommend Mr. Paulk to friends and family that need a home inspection.
