The service and repair is absolutely awful. Hope you never have to have them come out to repair anything. If so, prepare to be lied to and to have to wait. I am now on day three of waiting for them to repair my service. I was told it would be between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on each day. I waited to after 8 p.m. and called each day and am being told each time that it will be the next day and they are very sorry. Talked to multiple supervisors who are going to have their director call me and guess what, that never happens either. If you have any other options, please use them. This company lives down to it's low reputation on service. AWFUL!

I went online to order service at 1230. I got the option of scheduling an appointment between 1-3 pm on the same day. The technician showed at 245, and was done in an hour. I am shocked at how fast/efficient that was.
Description of Work: Started internet service in a home we just moved into.

Too bad they have a MONOPOLY here in Montgomery.
Description of Work: Called with a internet problem and a scheduled appointment was set. Charter called back the day of the appointment with a recorded message informing me the problem was resolved. They also informed me the appointment was cancelled. My internet is still slow and works on and off. The technician earlier had said my modem wasn't working correctly and needed replaced. Now I have to call back and spend the hour begging for an appointment. BAD service.

I was happy with their service. When I just had internet it was $54 for the high-speed internet and when I had cable and internet it was like $120. I had no complaints about their price, service; customer service on the phone, everything all the way around was great with them. I would still have them if I could. Not a single complaint. So for any question you are going to ask, I am going to say they are great. Their customer service was outstanding, so if you ever have to call and have a question about your bill, or even if you have to cancel service, some companies are quite not as easy if you have to change service or cancel service or downgrade service. For financial reasons, I had to downgrade some of my services and they were very easy, they didn't hassle me about trying to stay on with the company or keep services or offer me ten other deals just to keep my money. They were just really easy. Zero pressure.
Description of Work: I cancelled them about a month ago for internet and cable about three months ago. I moved so I am not using them anymore but I would still be using them if I had a choice but unfortunately where I happened to move to they don't offer Charter.

About 2011 we had problems connecting to internet and a contracted person was sent to our home. He was rude and wasn't really interested in resolving our problem. I complained to Charter and they sent another contracted individual who was as nice as he was informative. He solved our problem. I have no particular complaints about Charter except they are a bit pricey. Their customer service seems to have improved over the past year.

I've been using them for 12 years. They are there when I need them. They are coming out tomorrow morning. I haven't done much price comparison.
Description of Work: I use Charter for their big bundle, which includes cable, internet and telephone.

Service was terrible showed up late twice & twice the "boys" did not know how to repair it. DO NOT GET CHARTER this is the worst experience I have ever seen.
Description of Work: My overall experience with this company is that I have had the service for less than two months I have made an average of 25 calls to them since being connected & have been lied to by initial service rep on price. Service & communication with this company is ridiculous!! I have signed a two yr agreement & am trying to get out of the contract.
