   Mr. Carmichael and his crew are great to work with. Their quote to complete the bathroom was really reasonable and quickly responded to the job. I appreciated their professionalism and the ease of communicating our ideas for the bathroom. When any changes needed to happen they saw to it that it was taken care of unto completion.  

He is prompt and courteous. We are moving soon and need several things done asap. He was recommended to us and I would use him again if we were to stay in the area. He is willing to follow up on things that are not right and he follows up qucikly.

From the other estimates that was a good deal. The workers were awesome, friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

The work was promptly and professionally done, Scheduling was impeccable. This company is run by an individual who loves his work and takes pride in it. I have never had to deal with a contractor before however, this man is my contractor for life.

Overall, they got the job done at a competitive price but was no overly impressed.

I work in commercial real estate development and property management, and have worked with all types of contractors for 30 years. Carmichael was the best contractor I have ever worked with. I can't say enough good things. Their pricing was fair, they were on time, completed the work quickly, coordinated subcontractors well, had the BEST subcontractors, and kept everything as clean as possible. Brothers, Charles Carmichael (on-site supervision) and Al Carmichael (office) were a joy to work with in every way, and they wanted to make me happy, not just do a job. For example, I had a difficult wall paper border in my kitchen that two other painting contractors had looked at over the years, and wouldn't touch. I did not have the border removal in my original scope of work thinking it was just too much to try to do, would cost a fortune. and I wouldn't be happy with the result (as happened previously with a different contractor removing master bedroom border). Near the end of my job, when I mentioned it would look so much better if we could have taken the border down, Mr. Charles said "We can do that!" Even after I explained the obstacles to him, he said "We can do that!" and quoted me a very reasonable price. By then I trusted him enough to know if he said he could, he would .... and he did! He put his guys right on it, told them how it needed to be done, and I now have a beautiful kitchen with everything done just as I really wanted. The Carmichael employees and subs were always very professional. They were in and out in 3 days. Day 1 = demo and electrical, Day 2 = Granite install, Day 3 = painting, misc repairs (including the added border removal and painting entire kitchen which had not been planned on). They didn't ask for any money up front (other than I paid the granite subcontractor directly 1/2 when order placed and 1/2 when installed). They made a kitchen remodel go as smoothly as a kitchen reno could go.I am so glad I got to know these guys, because they are moving to the top of my list for commercial work. It was excellent. They do a lot of stuff. We have a two story home and the back is two story sprung up. In the front it is one story and that is because we live on a hill side and you normally see nothing in the front and when you go back you see a two story house. He was right about putting scaffolding so that he could get under the roof and the faucets and all. We were afraid that somebody would get hurt but they were just excellent. They work as a team and they are the same. They were very courteous and clean for painters. When we had a slight problem with the house they pointed it out to my husband so that he could get up there and caulk it. We didn't even know there was a problem there. They did an excellent job and it's been two years now. They did my neighbors house as well and they were reasonable. We knew the painting was going to be an expense but having somebody do it correctly is worth a lot. We had another quote but what we liked about Carmichael was that they had enough people to have it done in a couple of day's time which the other estimate couldn't. We have a lot of rain and hot humidity here where we live so when the conditions are just right to paint it needs to be painted at that time. My husband keeps a list of the business cards we deal with and I am sure that business card is in there.
