"Unfortunately, the client was unaware that the wallpaper she had already purchased had a very large repeat that was not going to be enough paper because it required cut aways for corner molding, a medicine cabinet and wall sconces (client requested the sconces not be removed) to create a seamless match. Client was also unaware of the condition of her plaster walls would require numerous coats of primer (3) to prepare them for the wallpaper which needed to dry before the job could begin. Client also indicated in her request that she needed two 9ft walls to be wallpapered the walls were 9-10"- a portion was molding but the walls were taller than 9feet. As mentioned the client had already purchased the wallpaper and she and I exchanged several conversations about it not being enough for the area. She said she knew "it would be tight" but if "those two main walls were wallpapered" she would "paint over the door and over the bathroom window". With the overview of the project, over the door and the 2 main walls were completely wallpapered and the client texted me it was "gorgeous". The project (see pictures) did have a nice looking final product despite these challenges. She said numerous times she was going to paint over the window. I was under no impression that she was not happy with the job. When I last asked what she thought of it and she said "it looks good" Ms. Virginia, thank you for the opportunity to be of service and please let me know if there is any way I can be of assistance."
