With the microwave and cabinets being brand new the has to drill halls in upper cabinets to mount as well as the back wall. They also installed the outlet. They were on time (early actually) processional and efficient. Very pleased with the experience from office staff and scheduling to the men who came to the house.

I called So Al Electric. Initially I was told it would be tomorrow before they could come. Later they called back. The gentleman was concerned that I could be without AC and refrigerator that long and was sending someone to assess the situation. It was determined that the repairs could be made that afternoon. When the serviceman was finished he called Al Power to have them return to reconnect the line. So Al Electric went out of their way to see that I had power that day. It was also less expensive than the original estimate.

After our brand new dryer suddenly stopped working we were forced to go to a Laundromat for the first time in several years. My home warrenty company said the earliest they could get a service provider in our area to come out would be in a week. I had my wife call South Alabama electric around noon and they had someone out and the faulty outlet fixed by 3.

Sent them (through Angie's List) an e-mail early in the morning and received a reply within minutes. Had a verbal estimate within 20 minutes and Electricians on-site within 90 minutes. Job was completed within 2 hours from my first e-mail. Alvin and his apprentice were polite, friendly and efficient. The took all the trash with them and, left their work area clean.

They were on-sight approx. 3 hrs after my telephone call. They full explained their pricing up front. They were prompt, friendly, professional and didn't mind me watching to learn. They explained everything they were doing so I would understand and learn a few things. Cost was fair. I recommend and will call them again.

For the last year our stove would cut off when it reached 250 degrees, it would trip the circuit breaker outside.  We had other companies look into the issue and they replaced components within the stove/oven.  South Alabama Electric came out the same day as requested and noticed that the breaker was a 40 AMP and it should have been a 50 AMP, so they replaced the breaker and the over/stove worked fine.  They stayed to make sure everything was working and they were at my location less than an hour.  Prompt, proffesional, friendly, great to work with!

The team was excellent! They knew what they were doing, and had many years of experience. They actually taught as they repaired. They even tried to get the most appropriate color for the light switch they repaired. Every detail covered. They were very friendly and did not waste one moment! I really liked them and plan to use them in the future I also noticed their name in my vet office! They are just wonderful and I will recommend them to all of my friends.
