It could not have been worse! The salesman collected all the items numbers and created the order then he asked when would a good time for delivery. He said the next delivery day would be Tueday, I ordered it on a Friday. I replied that I was working night shift (7pm-7am) then so it shouldn't too much trouble. So Tueday rolls around and nothing arrives, I waited until 5pm (still with no sleep) and called the store. The manager said that salesman was off work and then looking into what happened. It turns out that he did not submit the order. After belittling the salesman about being neglagent and sloppy he told me he would take off the delivery fee of $105. I agreed and he asked when I wanted it so I said I was off Friday so he promised it would be there Friday. On Wednesday I get a call from the salesman apologizing for everything. I said that I'm cool with that as people make mistakes from time to time and I try give folks a second chance. Anyway, he goes on to tell me that the delivery would not be made Friday as they don't deliver in my area on that day. It would have to be Thursday. I replied that I was working day shift on Friday and would not be home before 730pm. He told the manager and the manager told the delivery coordinator. The manager then said it shouldn't be a problem. On Thursday I get a call at 130pm from the delivery coordinator saying my delivery is next. I told her that my delivery was scheduled to be after 730pm. She told me she told the manager that I would be last in my area but no time was promised. So I told her I would have to try to get someone to cover for me at work so I took 5 hours of vacation so I could met them. By 600pm nobody had arrived. I called the store again and was told that I missed the crew so they returned to the warehouse. At this point I was seeing red! I went to the store and spoke with the manager and the salespeople saying something will have to give. They failed to deliver not once but twice and I expected them to make it right. I was told they all they can do waive the delivery charge. I asked to spoke with the manager's boss and he told me their policy is not to give out contact information. So I gave them a few options to try to resolve the issue and they offered excuses. So I called the customer service line and was told that someone would be contacting me, but I yet to hear from them (it's been over a month now). So I cancelled the order and went across town to Home Place where I was treated so much better. If this happened in the company I work for there would be a "Come to Jesus" meeting in the assistant directors office. After he got through there would be some demotions and firings.
Description of Work: I went to order a queen size bed and matress set with installation. They made me a good offer on the limited budget I had. That's was the only thing positive about it.
