Excellent Work. Fast, Efficient and Clean. Installers professional. No clean up was required by me, whatsoever. 4 years later, floor still looks beautiful.

I hired this company because they promised 98% dustless refinishing.  Port City installed flooring in place of carpeting in my den area.  The company said that we should wait 3 weeks to let the new flooring adapt to the climate of the house (expansion and contraction).   The next step was to have all the hardwoods sanded and refinished.  (We had adjacent hardwoods that would need to be made to look as though it was the original flooring)

The owner came in when promised with a crew of four.  They covered all of the bookcases, lighting fixtures,etc. so as not to allow any dust to settle on those high areas.  I did not have to unload any of those areas.  I did not understand the process but was there the entire time to observe.
The sanding process involved three sandings of finer and finer grates of paper.  Then there was a buffing process to make the ultimate smooth floor.  The sides and corners were hand sanded.  Wow..what a process.
The next step was applying the stain that we wanted and it was perfect.  They returned three times to coat the flooring and one final buffing. 
They deliver as promised.  No dust on the walls,  no fumes, complete clean-up
 and the most trusted employees you can imagine.
Wouldn't have another floor company in my home!
