Got three different estimates and this one was for $3000 and then that turned into $5000. I had a lot of antiques, crystals and old paintings in my home from my parents. They apparently had new people working for them and they did not label any of the boxes. I also had a table with a marble piece in the middle that went with my coffee table. This table was broken into 1000 pieces. They also broke the glass and frame of an antique picture and my most expensive antique lamps. They broke the metal base and the globe of the lamps.Asked if they would take care of the damages and he told me that since it was a local move, there was no insurance to cover that.The owner packed my porcelain horses up and six of those are broken. I even offered to help with my valuables, but I was to busy watching after the six men in my home. He said that he was charging me more because he brought more guys, but I was ok with the 3 guys that he said he would have to begin with. He and his son came out the first day with 4-6 more people, but the second day he sent everyone else and did not show himself. I had talked to a few other people and they'd quite the same experience, but did not belong to Angie's List.It seems he takes advantage of the elderly, overcharges, and broke my valuables.
