The owner was at the front desk training a new hire and was very nice and patient. They told me that I need a tune up, and ended up replacing a injection coil. The price for a tune up, parts and labor were fair, and I would recommend anyone to go there. He has a very good reputation with the community, and his workers were happy.

The Camaro repair was a joint effort; I found the parts via my classic/vintage part sources and they did the labor. Also replaced a brake light bulb. I was surprised the bill was as low as it was.Oil change for the truck was regular maintenance and included filter, and checking and topping off all fluids. I don't take my vehicles anywhere else anymore unless they advise me they can't or are not equipped to do the work, which is rare.

They are always nice, and professional. Wait time isn't bad for minor jobs like oil changes and they will let you know if it's going to take awhile or they need to order a part.

Engine diagnostics performed per request since check engine light had come on and not gone off; nothing major and code was reset. AC needed an adaptor installed for recharging with R-134, as this vehicle still had the older refrigerant and had not needed servicing before. I did find out the original compressor will need replacing maybe within the next year. This is the only place I take my 3 vehicles for servicing.I am not a 'duct tape and coat hanger' type.I want my vehicles in safe driving condition and good repair, and this is the place to go if you want good, honest, reliable mechanics to service your car. Hwy 98 Service Center is a full service automotive repair center, and I've learned nothing leaves the bay until the general manager has checked out the vehicle and it meets his approval. It's the only place I know of that backs up their work with a 15 mo. warranty. Be forewarned, they are busy as more folks in the Semmes area refer their friends and family to Charles and Glenn. They do have a waiting area and you can meet some nice folks while you wait. As a side note, this is not your typical bunch of 'mechanics'. You will get straight answers to your questions, and a fair price for the work, a lot of times much less than other places that advertise 'low prices'. And I always get straight answers to my questions. And never ever, have I heard any inappropriate language from anyone who works there.
