BROWNING BROTHERS FLOORING CO

Browning Borthers nstalled a wood floor in my den.  Very professional, reliable, reasonable (though not inexpensive).  I was very happy with my choice.  One caveat - if there is furniture that must be moved for the installation, they do not provide that service.  They will provide the name of a mover with whom they coordinate if you request or you may hire your own movers.  A little inconvenient but not a deal breaker.

Browning Brothers are the BEST!! Floors are gorgeous. I have used them for different jobs for many years and have never been disappointed. I've flipped several houses that are older and had Browning Brothers refinish the floors. Great job every time. I highly recommend Browning Brothers.

It went good.  They arrived on the date we agreed to.  They had all materials and tools needed to do a professional job.  I asked them to add a couple of small repairs to my hardwood floors in another area of the house and they were very accommodating.  We used this company about 25 years ago on another house in another town and we had a good experience at that time, too.  I will use them in the future if I decide to install more flooring.

This was the third time we used Browning Brothers Flooring. The first time was when we built our house in 2000, and they installed and finished oak flooring in most of our new house. They did a beautiful job and we were very satisfied. Then, in 2009, our floors needed to be refinished, and since Browning was busy and I was impatient, we made the mistake of hiring another finisher that could come right away. He made such a mess of the job that we had to fire him in the middle of the job. Browning nicely came in in the middle of things and fixed all his mistakes, and gave us a beautiful new finish. So, when we wanted to change a carpeted bedroom to hardwood, we didn't fool around and called Browning the first time. They did their usual professional job, matching the stained finish of the new bedroom to the adjacent hallway, and also put a new polyurethane coating in that hallway. We appreciate that they let you know when they are coming and then they actually show up at the appointed time. And they are nice people to deal with and have in your home as well. Hardwood flooring is not cheap, but I felt like their prices have been reasonable. We have one more carpeted bedroom that we are waiting out, and we will certainly call Browning again for hardwood when the time comes.

As I mentioned above, we had floors that had been covered for many years by carpet. Browning sanded and polyurethaned them to perfection! We went with their suggestion regarding finish and they are absolutely beautiful!!! Everyone that comes in comments on the beautiful floors before they notice anything else. They were friendly, professional, prompt and extremely knowledgable! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of flooring services!!!
(My neighbor is currently using them to redo his flooring!!)
