She checked the refrigerator and said two parts needed replacing; she came back with one of the parts and said the other part would take 2-5 days to arrive. It took two weeks to arrive and she installed it. The refrigerator still did not work, and after two weeks without a refrigerator I bought a new one and had the old one hauled away. Even though the refrigerator was not repaired I got a bill from Big Bill's for $426.00.

Left a message over the weekend. Angie returned my call Monday morning at 0830 and we set up an appointment time window for Tuesday afternoon. She offered to call one hour in advance so that I could still work as long as possible before leaving to meet her, which was very useful. She called as requested and she and her Mom arrived promptly. They diagnosed the initial problem and then asked a couple of questions about the details of what happened, which allowed them to more accurately assess the problem and make sure all the components were fixed. Before leaving they also checked the entire stove and oven to make sure there were no other issues that we had overlooked.

I called on Wednesday. Appointment was set up for Friday between 8 am and 1 pm. A delightful repairwoman and man came out. They called before coming. I am so sorry I did not get their names but I think the woman was Angie. Both were like family as soon as they came in the door. I left them to it and they discovered the issue immediately--leaky gasket. Both pointed out the evidence of wet dust and a water line on the inside of the frame where the spinning tub threw water. I wanted their opinion for possibility of repair so I could decide if burial or repair was the best course. Alas, burial was the best option. I had no complaints with the cost of repair just that it was an old machine and didn't think it would be worth it. The cost for the service call was most reasonable. Nowadays you expect to pay almost a hundred for people to just talk to you. This amount was lower. Angie even gave her opinion on a replacement washer brand and the history of this brand and why it would be a good one after I asked her. No, they do not sell appliances, I asked. I have one of their magnets on my refrigerator now and will not hesitate to call for any appliance.

We have used Angie at Big Bill's Appliance Repair for almost ten years and would not consider anyone else. They have always provided the very highest degree of service to us. More than that, they have also advise when it was time to actually just bite the bullet and buy a new appliance. We appreciate that more than anything else and will alway continue to use Big Bill's.

She immediately came out when I initially made the call. But, she had to order the part. So she said it would take X amount of days, which was fine. That's understandable. But when she came back out to do it, my washer sounds like there's a 747 in my house whenever I wash. I have to turn the television up extremely loud if I am washing. This morning the washer even woke up my daughter.

"I'm sorry your unhappy with the service however there was no way for me to know ur bearing were going out due to the fact that it wouldn't spin when I originally came out. I repaired the problem that u told me about but without fixing that problem there was absolutely no way for me to know there was another issue. I came out within hours of ur original call and came back immediately after u called and stated there was a problem 3 weeks later. Not to mention not getting paid all the money when the problem was fixed. I patiently waited for the rest of the money for my work. As I stated there was no way for me to know unless we fixed the original problem which I did. I apologize ur unhappy but there are things beyond our control."

My refrigerator wasn’t draining correctly which was a common problem for the brand of refrigerator I have. The woman was very quick and very knowledgeable. The problem isn’t fixed but it is a little better. It is not totally fixed and I haven’t called them back. After all this time I think that they would charge again and I have only so much money. She was very good.
