Don't use them to detect any leaks, unless you want them to CAUSE a leak. We spent $350 for them to help us detect a leak and not even 2 hours later got a leak as a result!! Called and emailed and they WILL NOT even refund the money. SUPER UNHAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY.

They didn't do what they claimed to do, and never did find the leak. They plumber who was here working was the one who ended up finding the leak.

My husband and I didn't even know this type of service existed until a plumber we called suggested we contact American Leak Detection. We had two plumbing companies, as well as a landscaper, attempt to find/repair our water leak, which we had determined was somewhere in our huge front yard. Ultimately, the plumbing companies both wanted to install a new pipe line instead of finding the leak--at a cost of $2,000+. We called ALD and were told our leak would be detected--guaranteed--at a flat rate of $330. The leak was found within ten minutes and the repair was performed for an additional $300.

I truly thought I had a burt pipe in my wall but no leak was detected anywhere and they were nice enough not to charge me for a service call.

American Leak gave me the needed information to make a decision. Now that know that I have multiple leaks I will have to have a company install a new liner.

They were efficient. They were a little pricey but there are not a lot of people that do this job so I didn't have much to compare. They were busy. Their punctuality was good. I would use them again.
