Contacted Advanced to repair a leaking gas line at my father in laws house. We noticed the leak while we were in town for Thanksgiving. I contacted Advanced through Angie’s list but they never returned my call. I called them back when we got back home from Thanksgiving and they set up a time to go out to the house the next day. The next day they contacted me and said they needed to bump the call to the next day. They went out, assessed the problem, quoted and repaired the pipe, They also extended the Angie’s List discount which was a pleasant surprise. Other than them not getting back with me initially and also having to delay the scheduled repair I was satisfied with them and would recommend them.

Phone receptionist said $69 charge for coming to house on top of repair charge. Two plumbers come and say They can change faucet for $439. Or they can fix the knob for $130 per hour with no idea how many hours needed. I ended up using someone else. I bought a faucet for $40 and paid someone else $145 to install it. Total cost $185 vs. $439 plus $69. I paid advance $44 for doing nothing. $69 less $25 for using Angie list. They insisted on being paid even though they spent less than 2 minutes in my house and did nothing. I’m glad I asked how much they planned to charge before they started.

I'm an experienced DIYer. There isn't much I can't do in my house. I installed every toilet in my house and most of hte faucets. However, I was attempting to install a new faucet and drain in a pedestal sink, I met my match. after 4 hours I was no closer to finishing the job then when I started. I knew I needed somebody with the tools and experience to take care of this. I called Advance and the lady on the line answered on the second ring. I explained my issue and she gave me her prices up front. I told her it was no rush but I would like to get it done sooner rather than later. She took my information and said she would get back to me on a more exact time. A few hours later the lady called me back and said that somebody could come by mid Friday Morning. I agreed and thanked her. The Plumber called first and arrived right on time. I explained what I needed done and she quoted me a price right there. She grabbed her tools and went right to work. One of my faucet kits was missing the escutcheon plate, so we had to hold off on installing that, but short of that all of the work was done as requested and done in a highly professional and efficient manner. She knocked off some of the cost due to not installing the faucet. Now they are not the cheapest plumber I have ever used, but the quality of the work is second to none. they were prompt and left no mess and did the job to my standards, which are high. I got what I paid for and I'd do it again if I had to. These are the people you call when you can't do it yourself.

Let me first say I would definitely use this company again, for their quality of work, knowledge of work, and for coming when they said they would be here. OUTSTANDING. A little pricey at $130.00 per hr. and $69.00 service call charge. My bill was $468.00 for 2hr and 15min and I had all the parts except the value, do the math. I will gladly pay extra for QUALITY service, like Advanced Plumbing. Use Them!!

Mark came out to address our issues. He was prompt, professional, and after running some tests, he identified the problems. The kitchen faucet needed to be tightened, and the screw was in a place we couldn't reach. It's now working properly and not flopping around in the hole. We had a different company look the toilet issue and the plumber could not identify the problem. He said we just had a dirty flapper, but after cleaning it, the toilet continued to run. We have a toto toilet and it needed toto parts to fix it. Mark didn't have the parts, so he had to run out to a supply company to get them. We were thrilled that he was able to get what he needed and finish. He basically had to take the toilet apart, rebuild the inside, and seat it. He spent a good part of the day addressing our issues. He spent time doing the job correctly, unlike other service people who want to get out as quickly as possible. The office staff is great too. When Mark had to go to a different supply place to get materials, his office called, letting me know he had to run to a different supply house in Mobile and was running a little late. Mark arrived at 9:00 AM and finished around 3 PM. and did an excellent job. We definitely will use Advanced Plumbing for all our plumbing needs.

OMG!! This is a fabulous company! I talked to Ms. Leigh at 7:15 pm on Thursday evening. She was so kind and understanding of the situation for two senior citizens. She got Brandon out to make sure the water to the line was off and to evaluate the problem. He was thorough, professional and very knowledgeable explaining to me the problem with outdated (outlawed!) hose and what must be done to route the new line from kitchen to attic. He gave me a thorough quote for expected time and materials. It was a fair price that would not change. On Friday morning, Ms.Leigh called promptly to let me know the service technician was on the way. Brandon and Austin navigated a hot attic to put the line in place. They had to cut a hole in the back of a cabinet that they later secured in place and even swept the kitchen floor! I could not be more pleased with this company and ALL their personnel. If you need any plumbing help, call this company FIRST!! They will do it right the first time!

First of all, these guys were the only company to answer its phone with a live person on a Saturday morning. Our tenants had called me late Friday night and said the water heater was spraying water and steam. We started calling first thing on Saturday, and Advanced Service Plus was the only company that had a live person to take our call. Second, due to the immediacy of the issue, they were able to fit me in immediately. All work was completed the same day. The technicians were professional and courteous, and they did a great job. We are very satisfied and would recommend Advanced Service Plus to anyone.

Owner came over soon after that, didn't look at lid, just went with what his employee told him. You would think he would want to see for his self. Obviously his employee was not experienced in this kind of work. We had another company come out because we were told what they were charging for a lid was outrageous. The other company came out, scraped off some dirt and to our surprise, we didn't need a new lid, the so called crack was where the two lids were not butted up close to each other. Once he shoveled off all the dirt, we could clearly see we did not need to spend all that money on a new lid.

I was surprised, after calling other plumbers in Baldwin County, that the first positive responder was 30 minutes away in Mobile. The problem occurred  2 days before Christmas, and, unlike others, Advanced Plumbing dispatched Mr. Franklin to us within a few minutes. When he arrived, he identified the problem (we have a somewhat complicated septic system with aerator, pump to above-grade field lines, and a 1977 main drain system), and removed the blockage (as well as explained the whys and wheres of it); and finally checked the rest of our system. All communications I had with Mr. Franklin and his dispatcher were informative, reassuring and prompt. Advance Plumbing is now at the top of my contractor list for my home and condo needs.

Advanced Plumbing was able to schedule our service on short notice...arriving within an hour of our call. Brandon, the technician, was professional, courteous, efficient and ensured our satisfaction prior to leaving. He was knowledgeable about what needed to be done and completed the tasks quickly while still doing an excellent job! Everything works well and the price was reasonable. Would definitely use again!

I can't say I know how well this company does on their work because we did not use them. they were the most expensive of the quotes we got on a bathroom project. They were however extremely responsive and came out the day that I called to make an appointment.

When I called and gave the details to Kathy, I think was her name) I explained that the commode would fill up and cut off but you could still hear water leaking and that I thought I just need to have a part or two replaced in the tank...so she did send someone out by noon on June 30th. The young man said they would have to rebuild the toilet that theywould Not replace parts at all. The cost of rebuilding ($189.00) would be as much as buying a new one. So I was very disappointed to pay $69.00 as a senior citizen and nothing was done....I would have thought they would cut the amt of the service call since they refused to replace a part which I 
had replaced on July 1st..by someone else,...the part was $15.00 plus labor less than $50.00 total....
They were very nice, polite, and did send someone but I would not use again.

They had to dig a pipe up and put a new valve in. They were competent, they knew what to do, friendly and they did the job work. I don't have everything to compare for their price, the only reason I call them is because I could not do the work where it is located. I will definitely use them again in the future.
