Animal Grooming
Our dog was left for a complete grooming which consisted of bath, brush out and clip. The problem was not with the clip itself but with what happened a couple of days after when I noticed blood dripping down her nose from between her eyes. When I examined her I found a large area of lesions between her eyes that had been previously covered by her hair. She had scratched evidently to try and get some relief and had already lost some of the hair between her eyes and on her nose. She was taken to our vet who told us that she had hot spots most likely due to the use of hot clippers. She was given an injection and prescription. She was miserable for days and ended up losing all the hair between her eyes. This was an expensive grooming. The cost of the grooming itself which was approximately $65 plus the veterinary bill of about $200 was a bit much, but the main thing was the discomfort our pooch had to endure because of carelessness of the groomer.
