Jerry Guy ll came to my house to supposedly build a carport.  He told me that because I live in a historic neighborhood, he would draft the plans and submit them to the historical board for approval.  He told me he would charge $100 for this.  I gave him a check for $100 which he promptly cashed.  Two months  passed and I did not hear from him.  I called the phone number he gave me, reached voicemail, and left a message asking him to call me.  I never heard from him again.  He cashed my check, but has given me no plans for the carport nor notified me of any actions he has taken.  I do not know if he has drawn any plans.  I certaily do not think he has submitted anything to the historical board.

He was in way over his head from the beginning.  He took the jacuzzi tub out and there was a lot of rotten wood that needed torn out.  He tore out my floor and he supposedly fell ill all of sudden, then he could not be found again.  In the meantime, I have a large, gaping hole in my floor that is allowing rodents in to my home.  He knew I was not going to be home for a week and left my home in that condition knowing this before hand.  There was also a horrible smell that went through my home because of the hole this guy left.  He put my old toilet on the carpet and that left a nasty brown stain on my flooring.  I had to have someone else come in to finish this job and that was delayed because he could not even order the tile correctly.  This was a small bathroom that he shorted the tile order by 2 boxes.  The tile I was using is a special order and we had to wait an additional week for that to come in.

I called a listing in the Local Paper, left a message. My call was returned the same day by a very nice man who came out the next day to review my project. I had a quote in hand by that night. I was very pleased with this process as I didnt receive a response from anyone else until later in the week. The 2 man crew showed up on time and took extra care in protecting my floors and furnishings. The job did take a day longer to complete, but they did a great job and I am very happy. I would suggest you give them a call, you will be pleased.
