$600
I really didn't want to leave a negative review but this service has concerned me all week. My brother in law gifted us with a $600 gift certificate. When making the deep cleaning appt, I asked if the whole $600 would be used since the house is very new and not in terrible shape. I was asked some quick questions (nothing extensive) about my house then the appt was booked. Three women performed the job and to my shock, were gone after 2.5 hours. That seems to be a very short time for a deep cleaning of a house this size. And if so, $600 seems extreme for a job of that duration. It equates to $80/hr which is pretty insane. I admit everything was dusted and the carpet was well vacuumed. And the bathrooms looked great. But I wouldn't call it "deep cleaning". An area rug wasn't even touched. I had to reclean one toilet. Found an ottoman untouched. Found lots of things underneath my bed including dust. In the past with deep cleaning, I've been left an Itemized list of services as well as notes. Nothing was provided. The company didn't even make a courtesy call to let me know the cleaning was done. It was the security cameras and system that tracked the duration of the cleaning! Heck they didn't even call to ask if I was satisfied with the service. On top of that, one of my plug in scents was left upside down and completely leaked out. The other was turned over on my window sill which left a spill that ruined the finish. They also left the dirty dog pillow on the area rug. I guess that didn't matter since neither was cleaned. I will NEVER use this company again or recommend it to anyone. Sad to leave such a review for a service that was gifted to us!

They were awful. I complained to them about their work. I have to have them come back out every time I have them out to clean something. I paid them $100. The last time they just stopped returning my calls.

I do not recommend them at all. They charged me $400 to clean 1600 square feet. It was an extremely basic clean. It was not detailed at all. We are military and I feel that we were royally taken advantage of. For $400 I would expect the floors to be scrubbed and things like that. It was like an $80 cleaning. It was outrageous the charge for the service they provided. There were 2 girls that were working and they didn't work hard at all. I was not impressed. I would recommend avoiding this company. They were awful. My husband actually did make them come back and do some more cleaning but it was still sub-par. They did respond. They should have probably refunded some of the money.

They were sloppy and did not pay attention to details.  They didn't take
out the trash or make the beds which I consider a basic task in
cleaning the house.  Also, they didn't do a very thorough job of
sweeping and cleaning my wood floors.  Each time they came to the house,
they overlooked at least one room--forgetting to dust or even vacuum
it.
I would not use this company.  They were not responsive to my
complaints not did they do a good job cleaning the house.  Save
yourself the disappointment and your money and use a different company.

Knowing I was in town just for a few days, they put me quickly on the schedule to clean the house on a Tuesday.  During the cleaning, one of the cleaners called me and asked if we really needed a more thorough cleaning.  They mentioned it would cost a little more than the $320 estimate.  I was thinking an extra $100, but it took two persons 7 hours (14 manhours) to clean the house as best it could be done in one day.  That increased the cost of cleaning from $320 to $560.  They cleaned out the fireplace, kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.  They were also able to clean the carpet (to include pre-treat a spot) at a cost of $73 (well work it; a good cleaning of the carpet).  Total cost for the day was $633.  Overall, the job was done well, and I would hire them again.  The owner and her reps were very responsive and helped us out a great deal by fitting us into their schedule.

They do a very good job. They are very professional and very accommodating. If there is anything that comes up in my schedule during their scheduled visits, they are always willing to adjust to my needs.

They are a great company. The owner, Jennifer, was especially helpful. If I identified any problems she always corrected them.

They are very good at what they do. We’ve been with them as long as they have been in business. They have been very honest and helpful to us. They work great with our schedule and are very flexible.

Both the owner (for consultation) and the cleaning person walked through the house with me to see what the work entailed.  The owner consultation resulted in an estimate of $160- 200.  When the cleaning person arrived the next week for the appointment she was 1/2 hour later than the appointment.  She walked the house with me as well and when she asked for what the estimate was (I am sure she had it in her paperwork) I told her $160-200.  She told me it would be most likely $200.  So, I paid the $200 with the assurance if it did not take that long they would apply the rest to the next cleaning.  We intended to continue biweekly if all went well.

I returned later that afternoon to find a note saying she could not finish the house in the time allotted and she would be willing to return another day but for a further fee.  As I looked at the home, she did a great job on the windows, but had not even touched most of the home. Dusting she had said she did was 1/2 done and the worst is the damage left.

She had bleached parts of my walls in the newly painted bathroom when cleaning our shower. Two walls were damaged and would have to be repainted.

So, this did not go well at all.  As I said, the windows looked great but only 1/2 the work discussed was done and damage was done. No note on the damage or apology.

Do not use this company.  I ended up in an argument with them, did not get the home cleaned but also did not pay anything in the end due to the cost of repair/repainting.  They did apologize later for the damage to the walls.

"Unfortunately the customer is slightly confused with some of the details. We do in fact clean exterior windows and would happily have done so. She was informed of our hourly rate and did in fact receive an estimate of $160-$200. She admitted to me, the owner, that her home could be featured on the A&E show, "Hoarders" so we were dealing with quite a mess. She promised me that she would clean most of the clutter before our cleaning appointment took place, so my estimate reflected this. Unfortunately she did not clean up the clutter, which made our job harder. We charge by the hour, as the customer was informed, so instead of leaving a bill for an additional cost, my employee left a note offering to come back the next day to finish. She was completely unaware of the bleach on the wall, but when we were informed of it, we apologized profusely and mailed a partial reimbursement. Instead of accepting our apology and partial reimbursement, the customer cursed profusely at us and put a stop payment on her check. We apologized repeatedly but the customer was unresponsive."

We had a lot of problems with them.  They charged $40 an hour, and we caught them doing a lot of standing around and duplicating work in order to run up the bill.  They also missed cleaning several spots and left the sink dirty.  I was embarassed to turn the house over to the landlord.
Response from Spotless LLC
"I'm afraid I don't even know who this person is. We had no such client on our books and did not do a move out on January 19th. I believe this might be some of our competitors giving us a false negative review. None of our employees do unnecessary items to run up a bill - we are much too busy with our satisfied clients for stalling tactics."

Our move was actually pretty stressful, and trying to get the house cleaned wasn't much better.  We'd booked one cleaning company and they cancelled on us a week out.  We called Spotless not even expecting them to have an opening with such little notice, but Jennifer was really nice and accomodating.  She told me that they also offer carpet cleaning and can do both services at the same time - just booking through one company and having one contact was wonderful!

The girls showed up first to clean the house and worked for a couple of hours before the carpet cleaner came.  They timed it so that the girls were done cleaning the carpeted rooms and the carpet cleaner was done before they mopped the hard floors.  They weren't in each other's way or messing up each other's work.  All the workers were really nice and professional.

They put both services on one invoice for us and I liked how all the workers got along and worked nicely together.  You could tell the company is full of good employees who really like each other.

The housecleaners told me about the regular services they do for most of their clients and after seeing how nice the girls at Spotless were, I kind of wish we had just kept an every-other-week appointment to keep the house clean while we lived there.
