We recently purchased a fire box from Overhead Door and Fireplace, but that will be the last time we darken there door. When the fire box and piping was picked up, and reached our home we found holes in several of the pipes. We called and were told to bring them back for replacement. At that time they said we possibly messed them up while trying to install them ourselves, we were going to have them install the fireplace. Our fire place was not even framed up at this time, how could it be installed. The lady manager called us back saying if she had been there, she would not have taken them back. Today we called them back trying to set up an installation date, the lady manager stated again she would not have taken the pipe back if she had been there. He told her it was put in the back of the truck by their employees, it was given to us that way. Needless to say my husband was not happy. We have now found someone else to get our garage door and other gas fireplace from, if they don’t want our business that’s fine with us and would not recommend them. I’m personally amazed at the lack of professionalism from this business and their employees.

My appt. was set within a window of 2 hrs. @ noon, and Sean, a veteran tech. arrived 2 hrs. early, which was perfect for me! He noted the rails in my overhead door track were slightly offset following installation 2 yrs. earlier, and he made the proper adjustments and heavily lubricated the moving parts, and panel latches on the interior of my door before installing a fine keyed lock and handle for me! I was only charged for the installation of the keyed lock!

My garage door opener was not working, and I found this business, Overhead Door, here on Angieslist.
I then contacted the business owner (Kayla) via message, and she got back to me right away. I explained the situation to her, and was provided with an estimate over the phone. The price was reasonable so I scheduled the service for a few days later.
The technician, Sean, arrived right on time. He quickly determined that a new garage door opener was not required, but merely a new capacitor. After replacing that, he made several adjustments to the door and sensors. He also explained what he was doing during each step of the procedure.
Thanks to his honesty, the bill was a few $100 dollars less than I was expecting. And the garage door opener is working as new.
I can easily recommend this company to other individuals needing help with their garage door openers.

Due to Thanksgiving and work-load, we had to wait a week for the service but the repairer was on-time, knowledgeable, and completed the work quickly.  I was very satisfied with the work and will call them again when necessary.  The garage door was 13 years old and had been installed by the same company when the house was new.

We had an after hours emergency with one of our roll up loading doors. A representative called us back right away and was able to get a crew together and out to the store within the hour and fixed the problem right away.

My 21-year-old garage door was beginning to fall apart and needed replacement. My initial phone call was to one of the ladies who worked the desk at the Overhead Door and Fireplace Company, Inc. I waited 24 hours and nobody called me back to follow up, so I phoned the company again. That's one reason why I marked them down for responsiveness. The second lady I reached sent a technician out that day for an estimate. This man was an honest broker, and admitted to me that he could fix my failing garage door for a few hundred dollars. I decided based on his integrity to have the whole unit replaced. I gave them an and quot;Aand quot; for punctuality because the supervisor and quot;Skipand quot; showed up later on the same day and was a complete professional. He showed me options and I chose a more expensive steel-backed insulated door. I paid half the cost up front, and the other half upon job completion. Skip was VERY willing to work around my family's busy work/school schedule. The door had to be special ordered from out of state and I was given an estimated delivery time of 2 to 3 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and didn't hear anything. This is the second reason I marked them down for responsiveness. I called them and Skip told me there was a delay because the door had arrived damaged. So my only problem with this business is how they communicate. My wife was there during the installation and had no complaints about the technicians who installed the door. They cleaned up after themselves and there are zero problems with the door since its installation (6 days). On a side note, the new door cut out a lot of the noise from the street and is definitely more secure than the old one. I am quite happy with it. Finally, the company sent me a personalized thank you card for my business. It's the little things like this that will definitely bring me back to them for all my garage door needs. Did an excellent job. Called before they came and were very punctual. fixed my problem and even put lubricant on my other door to keep it from sticking. Highly recommend.

Service was prompt, efficient, and courteous. Garage door tension came loose on one side, and caused other side of the door to bend upwards. The technician that came out knew exactly what happened, and how to fix it.

I backed into my garage door without opening it first. Dumb.
I emailed the company July 5th and received a call from them the next day to schedule an appointment. I was using the company because they are highly recommended on Angie's List. The person I talked with was not aware of being on Angie's list and reminded me that they are the ones who installed the garage door; they do a lot of work in my neighborhood.
The representative called before arriving and was a few minutes early. He straightened out the bent section of the garage door and lubricated the cables and the motor. He was efficient and only charged me for the service call.
I recommend this company highly.

I called the company, and a representative came to my home on time on the scheduled appointment date. He gave me the available options (one of which I selected), and took measurements. I ordered the door I wanted, waited two weeks and the installers came back and installed the new overhead door, using my existing hardware and electrical equipment.

The door was well fitted, and has worked properly without incident for the past six months. No return service calls were required.

The company responded the day after I asked for the repair service. They came to my home, when they said they would (called me 30 minutes before arrival to let me know they were on the way). The technician diagnosed the problem, had universal structural parts to do the fix, offered to check my door twice a year and tighten everything up twice a year at no charge, and charged what I would call a very modest fee. Superfantastic service!
