I was very impressed with them.

When my husband and I bought our current house, we soon found out that we needed a new heat pump. We called Hughes Heating and Air. Big mistake! They gave us a 5 year parts warranty and only a 6 months labor warrenty. Soon after the 6 months warranty expired, we started to have problems. Over the past three years, we have had to call numerous different A/C companies to fix a variety of problems. They installed the unit incorrectly and the water drainage pipe backed up and caved in a part of our ceiling in the living room and left 5 different water stains. The unit started not working AGAIN today, so we called a reputable company to come take a look at it. The techinician asked me if I knew how old the unit was, and when I responed that we had it installed 3 years ago, he looked at me funny. When I asked him why he was looking at me that way, he then preceeded to tell me that the heat pump's inspection date was for 2 years before we had it installed "new". He also said that the unit had different bolt holes in it from where it had been probably used before in someone else's home. It cost us around $1,500 over the past 3 years and another $700 today to fix yet another problem. And that is not including the $5,000 we spent on it initially. Whatever you do, DON'T call Hughes Heating and Air!!!
