I had a minor leak. Chris replaced 3 of the rubber boots around the vent tubes. Great deal!

We contacted Storm Guard on a Thursday. They came out and did an estimate the next day. Within the week the job was completed and the work was done well. I made a request that some boards be re-trimmed and it was done without a problem. The team was professional, left the site clean, and I would recommend them.

Approximately 10 days after moving into our home in the summer of 2010 there was a severe rainstorm and my roof was leaking badly in the entryway to our home.  We were new to Alabama and did not know who we should call but I had noticed a truck parked at a home in our neighborhood with "Storm Guard Roofing" on it with a phone number - so I called.  I spoke to Scott Gillies, the owner of Storm Guard.  He was very professional and nice and came to check the roof that very same day.  Right away he was able to tell where the leak was coming from and why the roof was leaking.  He wrote up a repair estimate which we thought was reasonable so asked him to schedule the repair.  He (and his team) were able to repair the roof the very next day and we have not experienced another leak since.
Then in April of 2011 when the tornadoes came through, our home received a little damage.  Our insurance adjuster determined that amongst other things our roof would probably end up having to be replaced.  I again called Scott and asked him if he would look at the roof and tell me what he thought.  Again, he was professional, polite, and very nice.  Even with being extremely busy with other tornado damaged homes he came over within just a few days.  He agreed with the adjuster and said that it did need to be replaced, but reassured us that it could wait for a little while; that it wasn't in any danger of leaking or having any further damage done to it if we waited a bit.  Almost a year and a half later (and many many calls to the insurance company working out the financial details) we were finally able to have the repair done.  Scott came over to the house and explained in detail what he and his crew would do, how long it would take, etc., and answered any questions my husband and I had.  He explained the different kinds of shingles we could use and what the pros and cons were with them.  And he had a sample book we could look through to choose the exact type and color of shingle that we wanted.  His crew came over early in the morning two days later and began the work.  They were very polite and professional and worked really really hard - only taking a couple of really short breaks and a slightly longer one for lunch.  They worked all that day and part of the next - and then the new roof was done!  They cleaned as they went so there was no mess or debris in the yard.  The only thing I wish they had done differently was to let me know they were done before they left on the second day.  I would have liked to have told them "Thank-you".
We've had our new roof now for 5 months and I love it!  We decided to upgrade the shingle we did have for an Architectural Shingle and a slightly darker color than the original and it looks GREAT!  We are really pleased with the whole experience.  This is the second time we have used Storm Guard with absolutely no problems.  They were polite, professional, prompt, and their work is excellent.  I hope to not need any further work done to our roof for a very long time; but if I do - I'm calling Storm Guard!

I had a pretty good experience with them.  I have got one issue for which I need to work with that.  Other than that, they did a great job.  Their bid wasn’t the lowest.  It was in the middle range.  Their proposals were more detailed than anybody else’s.  They brought out the items that I wanted looked at and priced them accordingly and so on.  It was a plus on their part.  The work was real good.  They were very responsive.

It went great. Scott was quick to give a good estimate, found the shingles and supplies I needed, started promptly and was done in under 2 days. His crew was professional and did not leave a mess.
