Duchess Decorating & Designs is a sole proprietorship business. I work out of my home so I do not have overhead cost, thereby saving you money. Any work that I recommend in the design presentation such as painting, custom sewing, window treatment and carpet installation, carpentry work,or construction will be subcontracted out and the cost for these contractors' work will be included in the design bid price. Some retailers offer designers discounts on their purchases so I will pass the discounts to my customers. My decorating experience includes weddings and holiday especially Christmas) decorating also. Please note that hiring a decorator to do your Christmas decorating for you can save you time and energy during the holiday rush and you get an elegant, professional, custom look for your home or business and you get to cross one more thing off your list of things to do for the holidays.
