Hardwood flooring was installed, nailed down,  in my kitchen. After about 3 weeks it started to squeak.  Now we can actually feel the movement of the flooring and there are gaps of separation.  I talked with Winks approximately a month ago and was advised this is common because of settling and the weather.  It is only getting worse.

They showed up when promised and did a great job installing floor.  Crew was professional.  The next day a painting crew showed up to complete painting new shoe moulding.  Very happy with product and service.

Our experience was a gross over estimate. They argued with me when I disputed the measurement they provided upon which they based the price. When PUSHED to review the estimate they had measured to cover newly finished hardwood floors. My biggest issue here was they had no apology for being rude or for the error. VERY arrogant. When I called the store and began the conversation by asking with whom I was speaking the employee had an attitude.
The only concession was the promise of generous remnants. Well I guess they didn't like me anymore than I liked them. For a FIRST in my life a carpet installer left not one scrap of remnant carpet after the install.
There are a lot of options for flooring. I would avoid Wolde.

What I liked about them was that they had a very wide array of samples and they were very patient in taking time to walk us through the process.  Our house was built in 1994, it had the old Formica type countertops, we replaced that with granite, and what they actually did is, they removed the old one and re measured, to make sure everything would fit correctly.  One nice feature that they had was that they left one piece for us to work on as a countertop, which was kind of nice.  As a part of the order, we had to separate the replacement wall plates, as the old ones were white and we wanted the new ones to be beige so it matched the countertops, and not all the switches and plates matched correctly, which was the only negative thing.  Except for that, they had fine attention to detail.  Their price was very competitive.

The staff at the store were extremely helpful, with picking out the floor, arranging financing and scheduling the install.
The flooring installers did an excellent job in laying the floor and cleaning up after themselves.  They didn't even take a lunch today, in order to make sure the job was completed on time.  Shortly after they left, the carpet guy came to finish up where the carpet and wood met and then immediately after that the 2 ladies were here to caulk and do touch up pain on the quarter round.  I am extremely pleased with the work and the wood floor - it's beautiful.
Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend Wolde Flooring.

Wolde removed our counter tops, gas cooktop and kitchen sink. As the breakfast bar was lowered,  part of the project was to remove the cabinet base supporting the dishwasher and reset the dishwasher on the concrete floor.
The first project delay was because they said the granite saw broke and it would take a couple days to get parts before they could work on the granite. The second project delay was when they broke one of our two slabs of granite on the way to our house. They said they got a flat tire and the granite tipped and broke. We had to go back to Triton Stone and select another slab of granite. Once delivered, they would have to recut the slab before installation resulting in even more time that we didn't have use of our kitchen.
While lowering the breakfast bar, our dishwasher had to be removed from its elevated position in the breakfast bar. As the raised bar was adjusted to counter height, the opening for the dishwasher became a problem because our dishwasher (Fisher & Paykel dish drawers with integrated cabinet facing) was not fitting correctly into the opening they created. In effort to make it fit, the dishwasher was pulled  in and out of the cabinet several times trying to make it fit. As a result, the dishwasher was damaged with the top dish drawer not closing completely, a cord was severed in the bottom drawer and the dishwasher was left hanging out of our cabinet. We later discovered that there was also electrical problems when the dishwasher turned on spontaneously one night.
After two delays, the counter tops were finally ready to be installed. The counter tops were delivered with no cut out for our cooktop. They laid the counter in place and dry cut the ENTIRE OPENING of our 36" cooktop IN OUR HOUSE! Danny Wolde, who has been managing the project to this point, told us that there is no way to pre-cut the cooktop opening without breaking it and this was the only way to do it. He said they do it all the time. Plumes of powdery fine white dust covered all open areas of the house including our master bedroom off the kitchen and even the kids rooms on the other side of the house. When I called Danny to complain, there was an absolute lack of concern about the mess they made and said he would send "the girls" to come help me clean that afternoon.  (On a side note, I later found out "the girls" are wives of the twin owners of this company but never identified themselves as being in the family. They don't even use the Wolde name to identify themselves) I developed bronchitis and had laryngitis for a week. As that powdery dust continued to settle we ended up having to completely clean the house 3 times to contain the mess they made.
When it became time to address the broken dishwasher, Danny recognized that it was their fault and offered to replace it with an LG model. We explained to him what we had was Fisher & Paykel dish drawers with integrated cabinet facing not an LG dishwasher. We allowed Danny to call an appliance repairman out to fix the dishwasher but that didn't work out. We told Danny that we were tired of accomodating him and the broken dishwasher needs to be replaced.  He said he would research how to get them replaced and would call back. Danny called back and said he talked to his partners and they decided to give us $100 to compensate for the cleaning mess, replace the dish drawers with a STAINLESS STEEL model..not the integrated cabinet facing we had when we started the project... and that installation of the dishwasher was our responsibility. He said if we didn't like it to contact his lawyer.
We could not imagine how their solution to this problem was an ultimatum and threatening us with a lawyer. We also believed that if you break something you replace exactly what you broke and we would not accept a lesser model from them. We went to the Wolde Flooring store to explain the situation face to face with Leon Wink. Leon agreed to replace our dish drawers with the integrated cabinet facing. We told him we could not work with Danny anymore and we wanted him and Terry Wolde (Danny's father) to finish the project.  Leon agreed. Terry Wolde came to our house to pick up a spice drawer as reference for get a cabinet match and also said he would take responsibility for finishing this project. Once he left, we never saw or heard from Terry Wolde again.
Leon sent us an email saying their cabinet contact at Woodland Homes had a death in the family and he would have cabinet options by the end of the day. Leon stopped communicating with us at this point. For a week we left messages for Leon and Terry requesting calls back. Terry and Leon failed to return any calls. Finally we got hold of Leon and he promised to email us "options." We received no email. We kept calling to follow up and again no calls were returned. We finally went out to the store and was able to get our spice drawers back that Terry had taken 3 weeks earlier. Leon was at the store and promised another email and said they were having trouble matching the cabinets. For a project that was supposed to take no more than 10 days, it took Leon 3 weeks to respond once their ultimatum and threat was made. His response was that matching the cabinets could not be done so they offered $1200 for a new dishwasher and $500 for project delays. Ordering a new dishwasher, having custom cabinet panels made and installation would be on us. They were refusing to take the effort required to fully fix what they broke.
We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We gave them two options for resolving the problem. The first was to complete the project with the integrity we expected them to have in the first place and the second option was to abandon the project and we would take the balance on the contract and hire competent professionals to complete the project. Wolde Flooring chose to abandon the project.

I looked at several stores and Wolde had what I wanted and had the best price as well.  I had to schedule 3 different people to perform the work.  They came out and measured my counters to give me an estimate then came back out and created a template then came back to install.  All 3 people were on time,  answered my questions, and great to work with.

Got 5 estimates.....  this was 2nd most expensive, but guarentee of 3 day install was key to our choice.  started on Wednesday, finished on Friday.....  two thresholds were completed on Saturday - took 10 minutes..... Installers were efficient and professional/

There were several changes in the schedule they set up.   I was not advised of changes, but had to call when no one showed up--or crews would show up a day ahead of time (in two cases).
The flooring was put in poorly, and full of knots.  The sanders/stainers probably earned their money filling the knots, but then they oversanded into existing rooms, damaging tile, granite in front of the fireplace, and wood flooring in surrounding rooms.
The floors squeeked.
I had to fight with the owner for several days before he finally conceded to fixing the squeeking floors, and agreeing to split the cost of sanding and refinishing the wood floor that was so obviously damaged by the oversanding.
At that point, we paid the final payment, and will never do business with Wolde again.

Wolde flooring was on time to measure and told us when they would return with the granite and backsplash. We had all cabinets and appliances ready when Wolde came back and installed. The price was reasonable and they did a wonderful job! We were well pleased. Excellent!

The designers and owners were at the showroom and helped us in the selection process.   They did a few in-home estimate and worked up a detailed quote within 24 hours of their appointment.  We also got 2 other estimates from local flooring companies.  One other company was higher and one was less expensive.  We felt that Wolde Flooring was more knowledgeable and they came with a recommendation from a friend of ours.  So, we selected Wolde Flooring. We were doing some other work in our house at the same time.  So, we were not new to construction.   During the flooring installation process, there were some unexpected issues that "popped up".  Wolde Flooring was very responsive and explained the situations to us as they came up.   We worked through them and when the job was finished, it looked "GREAT !!".They recommended a local plumbing company to us to help us reset our toilet & sinks.  This was helpful because we didn't have the nerve to reset them ourselves.Overall, we felt that Wolde Flooring was the best combination of quality and price.  We will definiitely recommend them to other friends and co-workers.

I was given an initial date for tile installation.  The date slipped at least three times and I wasn't informed any time.  I had to call and call and call to find out when the installation would take place.  I received a call on Saturday telling me they would begin installation on Monday or Tuesday.  When I didn't hear from them mid day Monday, I called to find out status.  I was told I wasn't even scheduled until the next week.  Tuesday I received a call telling me they would be at my house "first thing" (which was defined as between 9:15 and 10) on Wednesday.  When they didn't show by 10:30, I made the first of MANY calls; on each occasion I was told they were on their way.  They finally showed up at 2:30.  They workers told me setting the tile would take a few hours.  At 6, I had to leave for an appointment I couldn't reschedule.  I told them I'd return and lock the house.  When I returned, the front door was WIDE open as was the back door.  Not just unlocked, they were left open.  The workers came the next day to grout and were waiting on me at 10 which is the time we had agreed upon.  I asked how long the job would take and was told about 3 hours.  I returned at 12:30 and they were gone.  The toilets were not replaced (I learned later that "someone" was supposed to tell me that was my responsibility); the shoe molding they used was white though the tile was ivory and the baseboard was stained and varnished dark brown wood.  That was finally replaced late in the day on Friday after a repeat of being told someone was on the way to rectify the problem and my having to call many, many times.  All of this was made worse by the fact that the owner called me and would tell me he would assure that these issues would be resolved.  On at least three occasions, he assured me someone was on their way, it would turn out they had never left his area.
They do good work but it's not worth the angst.

When contacted to come during the remodel process, it took mutliple calls to get response. This occurred at each step in the process, when called to come and build the tile shower and lay the floors, it took almost a week to get a response then another week before they came out.  This occurred again when they needed to template for counter tops.  When notified that they had overrun the space on the build of the shower, they never got back with me.  I then had to go to the shop and discuss.  They took no responsibility for this error, while it cost me the expense of a new sink console as well as multiple additional trips by electirician, plumber, & contractor due to the delay the reorder of the cabinet caused to the job.

Since their response time was so bad at every step of the process, I canceled the granite countertop in the master bath as I could not afford additional delay to the job since they had already proven that their responsiveness was terrible.

They started a fire in my house by using the wrong tools to remove the shoemould. They matched the stain to the current flooring by holding up a brochure from a stain manufacturer instead of applying stain to wood for comparison. When they brought stain home and showed me color they selected from a brochure, I told them it was not dark enough, they said it would darken and said there was no other choice. They used the wrong finish in one room, a finish I clearly stated I did not want. Terrible experience. They offered to sand and stain again and then refused. Left big unmatched patched holes in the new floor.
