On time, on budget and met my expectation. I would use them again (and will for kitchen floor re-tile).

Everything went well from the first appointment to the templating to the fabricating and installation. Installs were one week after templating and I could not be happier with the results.

I was on a very limited budget to replace my bathroom vanity top, so I went to this place which advertised $36/sq ft on a large banner outside the business.  I was told that for the size I needed, they could use a remnant which would on;y be $29/SQ FT.  However, the remnant selection was at their cutting facilities in Decatur.  So I ended up driving over, and the building looked deserted when I pulled up.  In the back was the selection of granite and other stone to choose from.  I should have walked away then, because every piece they had had black in it, and that wasn't going to work.  The only piece that would was a piece of marble, so I went with that.  The company sent a man to template my vanity, and all he did was measure.  The installers brought the marble out a couple days later, and lo and behold, it was too small.  Not only that, but the corner of the marble was about to break off.  It had obviously been poorly repaired at the shop.  So I now had no sinks in my bathroom, and the installer told me it needed to stay that way so the template guy could do a more accurate template.  I was already tired of dealing with these people, so I said ok.  My husband was livid.  They called and scheduled a re-measure for the next day.  The time came and passed.  I called the shop and the reply I got (from the manager) was "Oh they didn't need to re-measure.  But we are trying to find another piece of marble because the piece left shattered when they went to cut it."  No big surprise there.  So I received no call to tell me they were not coming out otherwise.  She then told me she would be in touch to let me know when the installers would be out, probably that day or the next.  By the close of business, I was getting antsy, because it was a Friday and I knew the possibilities of getting it done over the weekend were slim.  I called every number I could find, and never got a return call.  My husband finally called the very last number from his cell, and got an answer.  The guy told him the owner was on his way to Romania so things were a little busy.  Not my problem.  The next morning the installer came out and got a template, and said they would try to be back later if the marble could be cut in time.  They did come back and install the top, but told me they could not hook up the plumbing because they could get in trouble if they messed something up.  All in all the top looks decent.  However there are some rather large cracks that have been filled, and there are marks where I guess the polishers didn't do a great job (looks like a honeycomb pattern).  I guess the icing on the cake, that prompted me to write this, was what I discovered this morning after cleaning the sinks- the overflow drain ring is made of plastic.  After paying $175 for a sink (just the sink, each), that is what I got.  Never again will I use this company.

Granite was installed while I was at a high school (volunteer) and wife was home.  She called me and I hurried home.Wife and contractor had a discussion about the seam.  Contractor was very rude to my wife and told her that I had agreed to seam.  Upon arrival at home wife informed me of rudeness of contractor.  I told him that the seam was ugly and to remove the granite from kitchen.  He jumped into his truck and drove off.  New contractor removed the parially installed granite and installed new.  New contractor stated that seam in the middle of sink area should never have been done, very unsightly.  Also seam was not joined tightly.  I should have contacted BBB as they had given Town Granite an F.  I filed a complaint with our local BBB.
Response from Town Granite Inc.
"Town Granite at the time of the tampleting ( layout of the counters to be cut ) , discuss with the customer about the seam placement and have the customers agree and sign for that . At the time of the granite installation the customers did not like the seam placement any longer . It was to late to do anything because the granite has been already cut per tampleting arrangement with the customer per signature on the tamplet placement . Town Granite owner tried to explain to the customers that after they signed and agreed with the way the granite will be cut , we can not change anything any longer . Enable to reach agreement"

Town Grantie installed a granite vanity top in our master bathroom. They worked with us and helped us find a remnant piece of granite and saved us about $300. They also installed granite countertops in our kitchen in 2008. They look great and their price was very competitive. OUr installed was a little grumpy, but the sales person at the showroom and the owner are both extremely professional.

We decided to put in granite countertops to update our kitchen and help make it more attractive to potential buyers. The showroom had several flooring choices and cabinets which made it easy to show Christy what I already had in my kitchen. She helped me match up colors and helped direct me to the more popular and "safer" choices that buyers would like. She then sent me to a nearby warehouse to pick out my exact slabs of granite. I had a couple questions about the sink and faucet. Christy was pleasant and knowledgable answering my questions, but didn't always return my calls the same day and would use the excuse "we're so busy". Spending several thousand dollars in this economy, I want to feel like I am their most important customer. The fabricator measured my countertops and then installed them 8 days later. There was little mess. They were very professional - making sure not to scratch my wood floors - sliding my stove on top of a rug and cleaned up after themselves. They took care of everything and made it incredibly easy. The only other thing I had to do was have a plumber hook up the sink. Comparing prices, they were cheaper than the large retail stores that offer granite although I did find a nearby store that was a few hundred dollars cheaper (we decided to use town granite because they seemed more experienced and said they could do my irregularly shaped countertop with only one seam).
