My deductible exceeded the cost of a new windshield. I asked several friends and co-workers for recommendations as well as my insurance agent. Several people recommended Safelite Auto Glass, and a couple of friends told me about the Glass Center in Madison. After calling both companies, I went with the Glass Center for a couple of reasons. Safelite quoted a price for the windshield, plus a and quot;disposal feeand quot; plus a and quot;mobile service feeand quot; for coming to my place of work. The Glass Center quoted a single price, including mobile service and a lifetime leak warranty, and came in over $100.00 less than the quote from Safelite. The representative I spoke with was very friendly when scheduling the work, although I did have to wait several days due to jobs already scheduled. The service technician called me the morning of the appointment, showed up promptly as promised and the finished job was great. A smaller local company that really seems to go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right.

They originally quoted me $220 which was considerably cheaper than the competition; but when I mentioned I wanted to get my daughter's front windshield done as well ('94 Pontiac Grand Am), they took 10% off each car so it cost me $200/ea! They did a great job; they came to the house (or would have gone to my office), and were done in 30 minutes! Definitely will recommend them. Lifetime warranty as well!
