The guy John Jordan started off late to meet with us. I should have known not to trust him from that point. I gave him a chance and he bidded the job from email pictures that I sent him. He told us that he finance jobs and it would be 2000 up front. He came to my house on a wed and said that he would have hos guys started on it Friday. Wrote up a contract and Friday they where here working this was the last week of April 2014 and now it's the last week of June and my deck still isnt completed. John kept saying his guys where going to come out and finish the job but they never would show up. For a week we kept trying to contact him and he never would return my calls. He finally text and said they would be out on a Thursday which they did and worked 3 days and once again didn't here from them. So one day they came and the guy that was building the deck said John needed to talk to me I said okay and John told me that the man needed 300 dollars I said that's not my problem where suppose to pay 300 a month when the deck is completed. So once again John was mad and I told him that if my deck wasn't finished my lawyer would be involved. He finally texted me on a we'd and said my deck would be completed that Saturday well he came out with another contract that was better and stated that it was to be completed that Saturday but the guy building the deck said that he wasn't going to come Saturday because it was father day weekend so then. Saturday rolls around the eck wasn't completed it took till the following Tuesday. To make things short the deck still isn't completely finished some rails didn't have screws in them and some where shorter than others. The deck is very uneven but the plus side is that he came off 1900 dollars which in all means we paid for nothing but the materials to build the deck and paid a total of 4600. I would not use Bama granite nor Pat Lamb construction ever again their both crooked and does terrible work.
