DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. This move, from an old house to a new, was nothing short of a disaster. The movers themselves, i.e. the guys that actually did the heavy lifting, did a great job even though they were badly underserved by their management's poor planning. Like most movers, this company uses software that estimates various requirements for a particular move based upon information it's given by the company's "estimators." There are certain parameters that the software doesn't factor in or estimate well (for instance, heavy or large fragile items that can't be stacked--gym equipment is a good example) thus a human estimator is required to make allowances for certain things and override the software's recommendations at times. THIS is where Two Men and A Truck failed miserably. Their estimator came to our home, and gave an estimate on how many trucks and men we would need for two days of moving an entire household, and seemed quite certain of his accuracy--that we would need two trucks for at least one day, possibly two--then, inexplicably, when the software recommended fewer men and trucks, went with the software's decision rather than overriding it. This had disastrous consequences for our move. Not only did it badly underestimate our requirements, the movers were forced to work well past their scheduled time in fairly miserable conditions on both days, AND we were forced to rent a Uhaul for several days after that and move many items ourselves, which resulted in multiple cascading complications with work, contractors, installs, and on and on and significant needless expense. Their serious oversight resulted in a workload for us that was far more exhausting and frustrating than any move should be. I did hear from their management after this, explaining the factors that influenced the software to underestimate our equipment requirements. What was not explained was why the estimator(s) did not go with what was glaringly obvious to everyone else (including the senior manager), and why they allowed the software to override their opinion. Never again.

They took apart things that shouldn't have been taken apart and could not be put back together. They broke furniture and then said they did not do it. I had to so an insurance claim against them. It was pretty rough. I was in the Navy for ten year sso I've moved all around the country. Just a lot of different movers. They were the worst movers I've ever had.

Excellent job. Guys were attentive. They took great care to make sure neither the item nor the home was damaged. When they finished early, the provided a credit back for the additional time!

The Two Men and a Truck team brought an extra person (trainee) due to the size of the move. They were on time, did a thorough walk down to understand all aspects of the move. They had a manager on site at the beginning of the move to ensure it got off to a good start. They were very careful with our belongings and furniture. They worked very hard to get it done. They completed the complex move in less time than quoted and saved us 30% compared to the quote. I give them VERY high marks. Other customers should note that we color coded each piece of furniture and box with stickers to make it very clear the destination of each item. We also staged all boxes and ensured clear paths for the movers. By doing this pre-work it allowed the movers to be very efficient and saved us lots of money.

Very disappointed. Our crew ran late so they sent a different crew. These guys obviously didn't want to be here. There was a 2 hour minimum. We didn't need them that long but accepted that because they had high ratings on Angie's List. The truck was unloaded in about 30 minutes and they were basically ready to leave. We had moved the bases for our beds in plastic mattress bags. They leaned them against the wall and left them. They told us they couldn't put beds together and was going to leave the spare bed in pieces. Since we had quite a bit of time left on our 2 hours and after some pressure they eventually helped unwrap the bed bases and put the other bed together but they were again obviously unhappy about it. Our living room furniture was new and still wrapped in plastic. They left it as it was. I asked if they had an electric screw driver that I could use to put the legs on the furniture and they said they didn't carry any tools. We moved from Houston and there they charged a trip fee of around $60 to $80. Here they charged an hour at full rate for travel. I think if we had accepted it, we would have paid 3 hours for 30 minutes of work. We were moving into an apartment here while our house is being built. I hoped we would find good movers with Two Men and a Truck because we will have a much larger move (a lot of our stuff was already in storage here) when the house is finished but we will have to try someone else now.

The men arrived and went staging to work after letting them know what needed moved-all the heavy items. They even moved an end table that wasn't on the original list of items. They worked quickly and didn't stop for a minute. They carefully wrapped the items, took glass shelves out of the china cabinet and took extreme care with my items. I was pleased with their work.

The move was smooth. They loaded quietly and quickly (retirement home driveway). We have no damage and the two men were very professional. We had sold a sofa couch and they put that on the truck and went by the lady's house that bought it and droped it off. We will use them again when needed.

Took four movers and two very full trucks. They showed up on time and worked hard all day and late in to the evening to complete the move. They had some very challenging pieces to get up the stairway and were able to do it without a single ding in the furniture or the walls. In fact, I put more dings in the wall moving a few things around myself after the move than they did the entire move. Highly recommend.

BEWARE!!! This review pertains to packing for my move only.
First, when I called and spoke to "Kristin", we had a lengthy conversation discussing the details of the projected cost of my packing day. I was told I would be paying the hourly sum of $92+ an hour. For my small house 4 to 5 hours was very realistic. She assured me that it would be $600 MAX. She also said the more I packed the less they would have to pack therefore the less money it would cost me. So, I packed most everything, including all appliances except two, a blender and a toaster. Not once was I ever given the opportunity to decide to buy my own boxes and supplies (because I wasn't aware that I had to pay for any of that!) I did not pack the dishes, pots and pans, my clothes or my shoes. It took 3 men exactly 8 hours to pack up the rest. They were absolutely eking out every minute to make sure they got in their 8 hours of work. Well, when I got the bill I disputed it, pulled out my notes where I had made note of who and when I had spoke to Kristin in their office regarding my estimate. NEVER once was I told I would be paying for anything other than the hourly rate. WARNING!!! They charged me for every scrap of paper, tape and every box they used. They used so much more than they needed it was unbelievable. This is obviously how they run the bill up. EXAMPLE: I have a vase filled with shells. EACH shell was individually wrapped! Wooden spoons and plastic spatulas were wrapped in huge, multiple sheets of paper!!! I am still dumbfounded at how they are allowed to get away with duping the public like they are! They are the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with. The packing ALONE ended up costing me $1230.00!!!!! The total of the packing plus the move was $2000+. I moved .13 of a mile away -.13 of a mile. I have moved cross country twice with other moving companys. They have always come and packed one day and moved the next. They also shipped two vehicles with the two moves. The most expensive move was $3800! And, like I said, that included shipping two vehicles. I pray no one else gets "violated" by Two Men and a Truck. NEVER AGAIN!!! I will be making sure to spread the word so that maybe I can save at least one person from having this happen to them. I guess I will be eating cardboard boxes for the next few months.

They guys showed up exactly on time. They worked fast. No scratches on anything. Great Job! We are going to ask for the same guys when we move the rest of our belongings from Texas.
