Outstanding. Stuart is very honest, professional, and willing to listen and give advice. Workers were excellent and cleanup was very good. Did not find a single nail lying on the ground after job completion due to their use of tarps and magnetic sweeping of the area. Also, they have 10 year workmanship warranty and offer an additional factory warranty on materials. In summary, my overall experience with this company is certainly one of the best that I have had as a homeowner..

Stuart Samples of Summit Roofing was the 6th of 6 roofers to provide an estimate. He was the ONLY person who without being asked patched our roof during his estimate because, as he said, a lot of rain was predicted and our roof might leak. In addition, he and his crew were always on time from the beginning to the end of the job. He did exactly what he said he would do every step of the way. He and his crew laid tarps to catch the nails and shingles so no debris was left when he was finished. The roof looks great! So pleased!!!

My house was built in 1920, and I've had issues with hot spots from the attic, and condensation on the ceiling of my bathroom in the summer, for several years. I called Stuart to take a look, and it turned out that my attic only had one vent, near an eave, so no air flow for air to vent from the attic. Stuart suggested ridge line vents, and his quote was reasonable. The vents were installed yesterday, and I can already tell a difference. Stuart and his crew did a great job, completely cleaned up after the job, and he even took a storm door off for me that was literally hanging by a hinge, just to be helpful. I highly recommend this company and will call them next time I need anything roofing-related.

Stuart gave an honest and professional opinion about helping us solve a minor water leak that was a mystery. Hopefully this solution takes care of the problem. If not we would still recommend Summit 100% for honesty and professional approach. We did what we could with the help of Summit and now we have to move forward and address gutters if necessary. We received a very cost effective solution and truly appreciate the help.

Notice a stained ceiling in a closed off bedroom and in a hall closet after recent rains.  Called Summit on August 22 and spoke with Stuart Sample.  We arranged for him to come out on Monday August 25 to check it out.  He came and looked at my roof and discovered that the existing shingles in on of the valleys was done incorrectly thus allowing water intrusion.  He answered all of my questions about the overall condition of my roof and quoted price to remove ald shingles and replace them in the correct formation.  He hoped to be able to come back that afternoon but was unable to do so as previously scheduled work prevented.  He was able to come out Friday, August 29. He and his crew arrived on time and promptly set to work.  They cleaned up after themselves.  Since it projected to rain this weekend he said if there were any issues to please let him know.  I highly recommend Summit for roofing problems.

This company does a great job. They are professional. Very responsive and provide a lot of value. There was  not a nail or shingle left anywhere on my property they were very clean. Could not be happier. Hope to use them again in the future and will recommend to my friends. Actually that is how I initially heard about them as well. Keep up  the good work.

Summit Roofing was wonderful.  They walked me through the project in detail and were very careful to match the new siding, paint colors and replacement window trim to the rest of the house.  When wood rot was discovered around my windows, they discussed the options very clearly and fixed the problem.  As the project progressed, they were wonderful at keeping me up to date by phone if I was not available in person.

I called Stewart and asked him along with 2 other companies to come out and give me an estimate to either fix my chimney or remove it..He is the only one of the three that showed up on time.  He was so professional and knew exactly what needed to be done whether we wanted it removed or repaired.  His price was also the best.  He told me to call him when we decided which way we wanted to go.  I called him and he told me exactly when he would be here.  He showed up removed our chimney and cleaned up everything. There was no trace that any work had been done other than the chimney gone.  I was so impressed with the work and then had to call him to arrange a time for him to come and pick up a check.  I would highly recommend Summit Roofing to anyone looking to have any work done.

Heard a "drip" over the bedroom during a rainstorm. Called Stuart around 8am.  He arrived, inspected, repaired the shingle all before 1pm the same day.  Only charged $75.  Not sure yet how long the fix will last since this was today, so will update in the future if necessary.  Great service!!

Summit did an excellent job replacing my leaky roof. I had certain requirements and expectations in mind which I communicated up front when soliciting bids. Summit had no problem giving me the roof I wanted using the specific materials I had chosen. In order to minimize any chance of leaks, I wanted a leak barrier installed in all valleys, around dormers, skylights, vertical walls and chimney.  They did a thorough job cleaning off the old roof, underlayment, and tacks, and using a blower to clean the roof deck prior to installing the new underlayment and leak barrier. I was able to coordinate with them so that I could paint the drip edge to match my house color before it was installed. Summit's crew were hard workers who worked efficiently. They cleaned up throughout the course of the job, and they used a powerful rolling magnet to pick up loose tacks and nails. At the conclusion of the job, they did an excellent job of cleaning up any small pieces of shingle, tar paper, and wrappers, using a leaf blower to blow away shingle granules and leaf debris, and putting back everything as it was. They were also careful about not damaging my rain gutters. The new architectural shingle roof really looks beautiful and makes my house look a lot nicer and also younger. There have been several rains since the reroofing job, and I have seen no leaks. Summit offers a 10 year workmanship warranty. I highly recommend Stuart and Brian - they were courteous, professional, and pleasant to work with.

The price was very compatible, I can tell you that because we've researched for other prices. They just really did an excellent job, one of them supervised  the whole time. They were very professional, very hard workers. They did a pretty fast job but it was really done well. I think, they basically just did it in two days and it was a large crew which was an achievement. It's fortunate because it was a large area that needed a lot of workers. I just really can't say anything bad about them. We have one problem around the chimney, but  he checked it, sealed it and they thought it would be okay but later on, a roof appeared to damaged and they came out and fixed it.

There was nothing to be displeased about, from the estimate visit to the clean-up
of the grounds. (The other two companies' estimators/owners --Cobalt and Pioneer --  were also
pleasant to deal with. We took the middle estimate.) Summit had about 7
people on the job and it took a day and a half to strip the roof of old
shingles and put on 32 squares of GAF architectual shingles. Some of the
crew came at 7 a.m. and some, maybe the same people, worked until dark.
As a result the job was finished by 11 a.m. the second day.
The quoted on-sale Tamko brand of architectural shingles were not available in the
color requested, so Mr. Samples substituted the GAF brand, a $650
option, at no additional charge. Wow. Some rotted decking was replaced
at the very reasonable cost of $140. Roofing $5183 + ridge vents $795 +
wood 140=$6628, the total. Cost is right, service is right.

Great.  We passed inspection.

Too many good thing to say...I'll make it short.  If you can imagine a contractor calling you back when they say they will, showing up when they say, doing what they tell you they will do and more, staying on the job until finished even when some extra damage is found, you might think you're dreaming.  If you hire Summit Roofing that's exactly what you get.  A group of professionals you will be proud to indorse.
