They came to look at house and its condition, took measurements, asked questions, etc.  They came when they said they would and were polite.  It sounded like they were interested in the work which would likely exceed $20,000 and promised to get an estimate to me in a week or so after this evaluation.  I did not hear back, and I called a couple of times to inquire about the pending estimate but received no response.  Ultimately, I never heard from them again after they came for the initial evaluation; not so much as a courtesy reply to my phone calls to inform me that they are not interested in the work.

"The homeowner indicated in his initial call that his property was located in the Huntsville/Madison County jurisdiction but after traveling to the job site it was discovered that the property was actually in the Fayetteville, TN jurisdiction and we explained that our license only covered the Huntsville/Madison County area.."
